Probably not much between Facile Vega and Redemption Day then. American Mike up in trip for the Ballymore.

Edit: Watched it back and I think the jockey on redemption day was very lenient on him.

Both the mullins horses went past mike laughing at him!
 
That was super impressive. Redemption day was super too. Did not give up when beaten.
 
Even better when Patrick says after the race that FV wasn't completely on it today, end of season type performance etc...
 
Willie speaking on RTV very cool on the idea of Allaho going to the GC, says he'll speak to CPS of course but he definitely doesn't seem a fan of the idea.

I'd be incredibly dissapointed if he wasn't targeted at the King George

That's good to hear, hopefully APT is still sparkling early next season to make their decision easier. Willie will want what is virtually the guaranteed winner of the Ryanair in Allaho if he makes it there sound and still have Galopin and Monkfish to mount a serious GC challenge.
 
He could throw 3 darts at the Gold Cup and put Ferny Hollow into the Ryanair if making it there sound, I know that’s a big IF of course.

There isn’t anything in the novice ranks or from this years open lot that would trouble Allaho imo so it’s a penalty kick if getting there sound even this far out.

It was revealing about Cheveley's mindset when they talked about Sir Gerhard going Ballymore instead of Supreme. I'm paraphrasing here but they said something about targeting their horse at the weaker race (no Constitution Hill). So that tells me they'll target the races that guarantees the best chance of winning - using that logic, Allaho will be going Ryanair unless Willie tells them Galopin Des Champs is a beast at 2.5 miles.
 
A big thank you to the person who put up the 18/1 boosted treble of TNG, Allaho & Facile Vega. Tried to find the post but couldn’t. Unfortunately I didn’t lump on, but did use a free bet for a decent return - a great spot!
 
Cheveley and Mullins got a lot to ponder to be fair. CPS have got Ferny, Allaho and APT. Mullins also has Energumene and GDC (amongst others)... Antepost nightmare

Glad you had a decent return mate, this is actually a good opportunity for me to show my appreciation to all the members and in particular Eggs for the great work he does highlighting prices on the bookmakers special offer thread as well as his contributions on many others like this Punchestown thread. A lot of time and effort without a doubt but as I'm sure has been mentioned by many before me the effort is much appreciated and I offer my thanks :eagerness:
