Punchestown Festival 2022

Gentlemen de mee looks very short to me tomorrow

I just cant decide what to take him on with

Same goes for klassical dream

Klassical Dream James's gate double for me tomorrow

Willie speaking on RTV very cool on the idea of Allaho going to the GC, says he'll speak to CPS of course but he definitely doesn't seem a fan of the idea.

I vever saw the TRV interview but surely no one can be surprised. Allaho was absolutely dead on his feet after the last and bearely got the 3 miles. He's now fav for the King George but if it came up soft I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole round Kempton. Don't be fooled by the fancy Kempton is an easy 3 miles..Tear after year they come home strung out like Monday's washing.

I would have thought he would run Galopin Des Champs at Kemton on his way to the Gold Cup and Allaho go the same way as he has done this season. After all the last 2 races he has won are actually worth slightly more than the Gold Cup

He definitely wasn't 'dead on his feet' after the last. He slowed right up and popped it carefully and none of the others closed on the run in.
Thats not to say he will get the extra 2f in the GC however.

But saying he was dead on his feet is just way wide of the mark, he was fully entitled to start getting tired the way the race was run as any horse winning a race of that quality would be, but he definitely got the trip.

The Devils Coachman withdrawn ... as expected given the ground.

Glad to have Vanillier in the book antepost now given the reduced place terms.

This

He had the rest of them pulling up or dead on their feet he set such a punishing test of stamina

He was very much entitled not to be powering home

Annoying for any of those on the 80/1 To Win Today and Festival which looked good value at first glance. Luckily I wasn't.

Boyles go 3/1 on three stripe life

That's big enough for me to not care about him having run at Cheltenham and aintree

Why is it when I see a Mullins horse like Dark Voyager running in a race it shouldn't be I always think he's pulling a move. :rapture:

Had a look and decided a no bet day for me.

Robbie Power to retire after tomorrow. Wonder if Rachel becomes retained jockey for Robcor, she rides a lot of theirs anyway.

…ha, ha. Mullins said afterwards they both go chasing.

Managed to talk myself out of both Magic Daze and Ballyboker Bridge so far today... :hopelessness::beaten:

Blue lord and coeur sublime fighting out a finish seeing who is the least genuine and almost dead heating

Like two boxers with glass chins simultaneously knocking each other out

All the jockeys not in the first group of 3 should be banned for not trying

And I had no interest financially in the race

st james gate didnt even win the second race though so a very dissapointing run

Patrick Mullins with one of the worst rides of all time
