Right now, and based on what we've had so far.
1- Commander of Fleet
Only 5 and not had as much experience as some of the field.
Derrinross & Lisnagar Oscar look very good opponents also. And the rest of the field.
But seeing as Gordon won the pertemps last year with a 5yr old French bred novice, I think we can risk COF here.
2. Pic D'ohry
Firm favourite on here and could be a very big danger to Sir Erec. Personally think we may be playing for places with this as Sir Erec looks visually to my eye an exceptional triumph hurdle horse. But if he runs to his French form he should place at the very least.
3. Dallas Des Pictons
Looks like having the best conditional jockey on board, is probably a bit short for a race like this, but Elliott likes it very much and 140 does look a surprisingly handy mark when you look at the last 3 runs.
Think based on Pic D'ohry comments I'd go each way as stated at start of thread.
But open to opinion of others of course.
