Supreme Novice Hurdle 2019

Aramon weak out to 17.0 - Klassical Dream 19.5. Huge value here if only we knew what Willie was planning

It's just the wrong price isn't it. 2nd to Elixir De Nutz giving 5lbs. Jumps well. Beat Grand Sancy who is 12/1 for this. That form looks decent. Under the radar this one

Yes.

That should be the 'Spotlight' comment on the day.

He'll be under the radar because he hasn't run for 114 (by the time the race comes around). Be some training performance to have him ready for the day.

Can't, obviously, dispute the form line, but Gaultstats suggest to needing to have run in the past 66 days (they have stats against a few nearer the top of the market too FWIW), but at 33/1 you can probably allow for one or two stats to disappear and have a pop, overall though he's not one for me. I still think they feel Thomas Darby will prefer the bigger field, which he hasn't had, except on debut where he bolted up. Maybe using Itchy Feet for Aintree, Supreme being his prep.

Henderson's assistant (Toby Lawes) is really bullish about Mister Fisher on that Star Sports preview.

Says with another years experience he'd be an even money shot in a Supreme.

Watch it as my paraphrasing is a little odd there.

But then he tips Angels breath as the winner

Davy rode for Dai between the O’Leary gigs - he isn’t going to slag off his horse

Rouge Vif pays compliment to Mister Fisher.

Getaway Trump does nothing (again) for Champ or Al Dancer

Fair?

Very fair.

That adds weight to the arguement for those that doubted the Betfair form

Doesn't do Thomas Darby any harm either.

5l defeat giving 5 lbs at Kempton - would fancy him to be closer at Cheltenham (as has been the arguement all the way through)

I didn't want to mention that, but that's what I was thinking when they crossed the line. A big plus for Mister Fisher though.

I always like that Kempton novice hurdle on Boxing Day, with a view to this race.

Al dancer beat the 2nd in today's race 4 starts ago on his hurdles debut.

and getaway trump beat tedham who was fourth in that race, by 5l giving 6lbs.
it's all to cock int it.
messy rubbish supreme.

Was both their first hurdles starts this season, and Rouge Vif has beaten him further.

Doesn't do Al Dancer any harm, but his credentials haven't increased today.

So he did. The more recent form line with Getaway Trump would worry me as an Al Dancer backer......which I am (because of my double with AB in the Ballymore).

Not been increased. But not decreased.
Nobody knows how much he's improved since his hurdles debut 4 starts ago. I'd think a good bit on what he's done and the ease of how he's done it.
But won't be long until we find out.

There is a chance that getaway trump is not quite firing.
Or that his rating is what he is worth.
Not sure his last two races mean a lot with a view to Champ or Al Dancer.

We know the Challow was falsely run so not a great guide, and I gave Champ credit for winning that despite the pace, when he probably would be even better off a stronger gallop.

And Al Dancer won the betfair (rubbish race) in very good style.

But Rouge Vif winning at a track like that is definitely a tick in the box for mister fisher for sure.

Mister fisher recieved weight but he had a good bit back in reserve too. They seem to like angels breath over him though. But that dosent always translate to the track.
