Equine Flu Outbreak

They've only done the right thing if they don't do the 'right thing' every time a horse gets the flu.

If they shut up shop every time a horse gets flu then it's not the right thing as they clearly get the flu all the f**king time.

Lets hope it's not going around on march 11th.

Anyone else think the BHA's veterinary committee are all just sat there with their feet up laughing at us as they make us wait? :devilish:

Ascot will stage a nine race card on Saturday, including the Betfair Hurdle and Denman Chase from Newbury. We will confirm the order of running tomorrow.

s an interim measure, the BHA has ordered that no entries or declarations will be accepted from horses that have not been vaccinated in the previous six months.Trainers are advised to checkcurrent vaccination records before declaring tomorrow morning. In addition, all trainers will be required to provide a health declaration upon arrival at a racecourse.

Definitely glad to see that Racing is Back , I just hope the Above rule ( in bold ) doesn't mean any
Big name's not allowed to Run .
 
Pretty much all the NH trainers vaccinate around Xmas / Jan time as far as I am aware
 
Anyone know the conditions for the ‘saved’ races- ie did you need to be declared for the original or are they reopened?
 
Back in business basically. There will be massively heightened scrutiny between now and festival so if you compare where we are now vs just under a week ago, its all systems go. One month today!!!!
