I was at Kempton in 2014 when he won the Desert Orchid Chase. Blew me aware with his jumping that day. Had a soft spot for him ever since. What a shame

A well deserved retirement for Coneygree
 
Coneygree was one of my favourite horses ever, that season he won the Gold Cup he was immense, one of the most exciting jumpers I’ve seen, shame he struggled with so many injuries because he was a wonder horse.
 
To do what Coneygree did as a novice and lead the GC field a merry dance was up there in my all time highlights...
 
A Happy retirement to Coneygree , Backed him @ 40-1 for the gold cup :triumphant:,.
 
A real pity that injury curtailed the career of Conrygree,but a well deserved retirement beckons.
