You'd be better off laying him now. He might be a little bigger on the day. And there's always a chance he dosent make it.

Anyone struggling with Ladbrokes to get a bet on CE? I keep getting rejected by traders for any further bets

I have tried singles, doubles and a treble to try and tempt them
 
I think with Cilaos Emery we should perhaps remain cautious, the main angle for this being a potential arkle winner is that it was the highest rated hurdler going chasing, and it's with Willie Mullins. Enough for some, including me at any race 28-1.
But the highest rated hurdler and had a year off isn't a winning trend for finding arkle winners,
And it's pretty late that he's entering the fray should he do so, and it appeared early in the season that draconian was thought about a bit more.
be nice to see it run though.

On the mullins scenario.

We’ve still a lot of novices that haven’t run yet due to the dry ground as there’s not a whole lot of form on offer. There’s only nine weeks left to go until Cheltenham and while they can go there without runs – it does muddy the water for everyone.

There’s no substitute that racing brings in terms of fitness and match practice, so hopefully something will give in the next few weeks.

We’ve loads of horses ready to go but there’s nothing we can do about the weather.

The longer it stays dry – the quicker the ground gets.

Naas was quicker than Leopardstown and Punchestown and Fairyhouse could be quicker again this weekend because it’s so mild.
 
You have to be concerned with the weather. They might be forced to put them away for next year.
 
My only gripe is that it has clearly been 'soft' enough in England, so a bit of pre-planning as you start to run out of time can be the difference between having that important prep run or not. They done it with Laurina (in the end). I'm not sure on the racing calendar, but surely it doesn't matter where he started in terms of quality of the race, I mean look at that pathetic attempt of a 'race' Laurina had to run in. As a spectator and more so a punter you just want to see them being able to jump a fence more than anything else at this stage.

WPM knows best though, if he thinks he can turn up with these horses and win the competitive races without a prep then who am I to argue with him.
 
How many have won the Arkle off one chase start? Western Warhorse the only one I can think of.
 
Some rain forecast for next week so fingers crossed we may see him & a few of the other stable fancies soon. I never thought I’d see the day where I was only short of doing a rain dance to encourage the heavens to open in a country where the polar opposite has been the norm forever.

Gowran on the 24th looks like the next opportunity. If he doesn't run at that meeting then I'd be getting worried, as they'll surely be tempted to stay over hurdles.

He could end up in the Coral Cup.
