I have no betting interest in the race but she doesn't look like a Champion hurdler.

I backed Melon 20/1 last year hopefully he gets beat again before Cheltenham so I can get a similar price this year.

Only thing that will defiinitely tell us she runs here is when she actually runs here.
If Ruby thinks she's better then I'd say that's a fairly decent pointer that she will.
But stuff can still happen.
I even liked that Willie suggested she may not need another run :highly_amused:

All I can say is that if Melon can give her 7lbs and a beating, I would be very, very surprised.

He began defending his other horse (as he often does) then quickly said Ruby would ride the mare and that should tell you something

or words to that effect.

Ruby's opinion will suit Willie nicely - he'll ride the Mare, Townend can keep the ride on Melon and Patrick will stay on Sharjah. He'll be fine with that - everyone's happy.

i totally agree, A 2 horse race and a 48L cruise. Could of stayed at home and done that and probably gained as much.

It's not a wonder that this garbage is on ITV4, hardly a great advertisement for the sport.

It's laughable that people are hanging on Mullins every word after that. Just ignore it, as if it didn't happen.

The race time was changed when there were 4 in it, hardly their fault the two didn't run, and by that time it's too late to change it back.

Who would bother sending their Mare against Laurina though? I'm surprised the other one stood it's ground, but fair play, as that one absolutely hated the ground too.
