        Had to be the best thing given the conditions. More chance of racing at the weekend now Friday is off.

          Just managed to change my accommodation from Thurs-Sat night to Friday-Sunday night. Now just need weather to give Saturday and Sunday racing a chance.

                I think I agree. They need it to stop raining very quickly or the standing water will be going nowhere

                  only about 20 miles from the track. Most schools are cancelled tomorrow. Roads are more like rivers and it will carry on raining tomorrow. Miracle required if racing is to happen. Sunday must also be in danger even with the weather easing slightly.

                      Not certain the Sunday goes ahead to be honest. The photo they put on social media looked pretty poor

                          They put a similar photo out on the Saturday morning 4 weeks ago, when I saw standing water at the bottom of the hill I was surprised they raced at all but we know how well Cheltenham drains.
                          A dry day tomorrow and we should be OK for Sat...

                                Yesterday morning it was 0c with rain/snow. This morning it was 5c with no rain. Good start but forecast doesn't look great. They are 'optimistic' it will go ahead. Will be some piss up in town if its cancelled
