Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

He’s still very raw & green despite his obvious class. A patient owner would wisely play the long game with him.

The Supreme may well be a very low number field. With Vega there he's most likely playing for place money but the experience won't do him any harm going forward.

Paul’s reaction after that Navan win was as hard as he’s tried to temper expectations this season.

        • Does anyone have a view on what Willie might send to the 2m6f race at DRF (and then ultimately the Bartlett)? His staying horses for the season (as per the stable tour) have all disappointed; Embassy Gardens, Seabank Bistro, Madmansgame, Lisnagar Fortune, Shanbally Kid. I did wonder whether Spanish Harlem might step up? Indiana Dream looked good on debut. Can't see any other potential superstars (although he was no better off at this point last season).

          • Imagine he'll declare 4 or 5 Exar. Tomorrow's race will throw up one .

              • I think both Nichols novices have suspect form
                but I’ve only backed Hermes
I suspect he’ll fare best of them as his form looks more solid.
This assumes arctic and authorised didn’t run their races today. This appears a safe assumption.
It will be interesting to see what the handicapper does with ratings of the principles today as they seem to have ran very close to their existing ratings.
Which is nowhere near supreme level.
Even if you give the winner 6lb he’s still got a stone to find.
Definitely a nice horse though and will make a good chaser.

Harry does a good job of making a horse look like hes absolutely hard on the bridle, when quite often, theres little left in the tank. For all Tahmuras fumbled the last, L'astroboy wasn't going away and with the 2 main market rivals both running well below form, I'd be shocked if this race brought up any future G1 winner.

Yeah I thought he was going to stroll home a lot more easily but it went a little wonky at the end. If that was greenness then maybe he’s a bit better.
Looks a big unit as well.
I won’t back him and if I had I wouldn’t be expecting much.

                      • If Tahmuras doesn’t get penalised too much I could see Nichols running in the betfair.
Especially if Dublin & the Moscow Flyer highlights a gulf in ability.

Impaire Et Passe and Gaelic Warrior hopefully. If Facile Vega is as good as they think he is, surely they must be making plans to move some of their other good novices up in trip to avoid clashing. Can maybe see Gaelic Warrior being aimed at Betfair Hurdle, with a low 140's BHA rating, if he is to be competitive in a Supreme or Ballymore, he should/needs to have 10-15 lbs to spare

                              Straight to Supreme now

IEP will likely be going to the Moscow Flyer. Doubt they then step him back up at the DRF.
