5/4 on 365 with bog, in case you hadn't seen but a lot less in it if you think he'll be 4/5 on day

    • There's only one race blue lord will be running in if allaho doesn't make it and its this one

Must be a chance of energumene beats edwardstone next week that will also push blue lord here as Willie will feel he has the champion chase covered and may not want to rely on allaho first time out

I reckon you'll get 6/4 on the day with him going there fresh unless there's no credible opposition

Booked for third? He came round the bend a length and a half behind French dynamite, both jockeys giving it everything. Yet they were jumping the last at exactly the same time. Very poor reading of the race on your behalf

            Difficult one really
Hard to be sure what HDC would have found
And dynamite made a bigger mistake at the last and had to avoid the faller.
I think all three would’ve been within 3 or 4 lengths of each other.
Although HDC could also have won a lot more. He looked like he had it in the bag easy.

French Dynamites mistake at the last only occurred due to to HEC falling in front of him & O’Keefe had to check his run around the fallen horse, he lost all momentum.

I was on Fakir myself today but Haut En Couleurs had the race won before his mistake. He didn’t travel with his usual zest today & was lucky to pick up the pieces, if you can’t see that yourself then we’ll have to agree to disagree!

I'd say there's no chance of getting 6/4. He'll be very short, 4/9 would be my guess, if he gets there. The opposition is.........well, pathetic.

                • I had a nagging doubt that one of the 5/1+ horses was going to win and then did a complete u turn and backed Fakir along with rolling the 3L+ up with a couple of anteposts so I couldn't believe my luck (it's been rotten lately) that it went that way. Not a way I like to win although I'll take it, HeC was very unlucky to lose the race with how well he travelled round.

                  • For the little it's worth, imo if they'd all jumped the last fence well HEC was going to win the race and Fakir was going to pass French Dynamite for 2nd anyway.

As for the Ryanair itself, you can make reasons for most of them not winning can't you. Blue Lord NRNB does make a lot of sense the more I look at it. Even though a likely NR for me, he looks the most solid.

                    • If Allaho was to miss it then Nicholls should seriously look at sending Pic D'orhy to the race. Big improvement this season and his last win at Kempton would put him right in the picture without the fav.

He said yesterday he wound look at the Ryanair and also Aintree

                        • Cobden reckoned he'd struggle at Cheltenham didn't he.

Also set to run at Ascot in Feb isn't he, Aintree fits in much better! He needs to dominate from the front so, I'd have to have a proper look through the race depending what actually ends up there but, on the face of it it'd seem much harder in the Ryanair than elsewhere. I guess if Allaho was out that might be different though.

I'd have him down as an unlikely runner anyway

I think he'll send Hitman there if any, tbh.

Good. May add him NRNB then. He does look on an upward curve.

Couldn't fancy him at all. All about Allaho. I think he'll make it there and win easily again. He's so far in front of anything else he'd win if 90%
