One question re your thoughts on the Stayers…….
I recall NH saying after the KG,that CHouse would probably be seen next in the Cotswold Chase.
You mentioned Champ going there instead, have i
missed something ? I did read after your podcast that plans for Champ were not decided and Frank Berry saying NH will decide things?
In the context of the Stayers it’s very important imo, as i think Champ wins it if he turns up.
Luke Harvey did say that Champ could go to the Cotswold Chase on ITV last weekend. Whether that was just his opinion or not I don't know but Mick Fitz was sat next to him at the time he said it and didn't say yay or nay.

I remember Luke saying that, not that it matters much, but I thought Mick said he should run in the stayers when asked? May be wrong but that’s how I remember it
Presumably Luke Harvey had the comment about the Cotswold Chase directly from Henderson, but it's possible either Nicky or Luke Harvey mixed up Champ and Chantry House, and it's Chantry House that will go to the Cotswold Chase. There's also the option of the chase at Newbury on Betfair Hurdle day if both are intended to go to the Gold Cup via a prep.
Of course they could run Champ in the Cotswold Chase still to see where they are with him over fences, and still go to the Stayers if they're not satisfied.
For what it's worth I think Champ will run in the Stayers. I think it's harder not to now.
