      • I've backed Shewearsitwell for this and also was on the positive side of Echoes in Rain.

But the substance of form behind SWIW is rubbish. Far worse than EIR.

        I know she was quick.
But the horses in behind have run a combined total of 27 times, with just 2 wins (both beginner chases)

Her price now is a disgrace.

A Lot of consistently good noises from Mullins and co about her though and you have to take notice when he bigs up his Mares like that. Really looking forward to her comeback at Xmas. The Mares race doesn't look like it'll take a lot of Winning this time around. We need a star to step forward.

I like horses that are able to continuously win at a distance I feel is likely too short for them in the first place, and for me that applies to SWIW, even despite the lack of form holding up.

Obviously no hard and fast rule that this means she'll be good enough to win a mares hurdle of course, but is something I do like in a horse.

Do agree about the price, she should be, at minimum, at least a couple of pts bigger, but then you see WPM as the trainer and I guess it makes a little bit more sense.

                • Hi guys! Long time lurker and think this forum is brilliant! I've been looking at Queen's Brook for a while and have been steadily nibbling her from 25s into 16s who seem very much an under the radar mare for a Gordon Elliott inmate who finished third to Ferny Hollow and Appreciate It in the Champion Bumper. For me, the form is strong for obvious reasons but we have decent markers for a floor rating as she had Third Time Lucki, Eskylane, Ocean Wind, The Glancing Queen all behind her that day.

She was the second favourite that day too which suggests she was highly regarded at the time. I don't see any reason to think she can't improve throughout the season and with Elliott name-checking this race stating:

"I was delighted with her when she won at Fairyhouse. It was the first time I'd seen her putting her head down and fighting like she did when she'd looked a very smart bumper mare. We had a few little setbacks last season but it looked to me like she was back to her best. She's a very hard mare to get fit and had some blow after that. It wouldn't shock me if she won the Mares' Hurdle at Cheltenham. She has loads of class and that's her aim."

I still think there's mileage in her price at the moment. She looks to be versatile and has course form and she looks a fair price at the minute. I'd like to see an upcoming entry before I think about topping up but she's one that appeals to myself more than most.

                  • Hey GC. She's on my radar as well given she's back in form and over an intermediate trip which is bound to suit her.

                        • Happy with Heaven Help Us there with a view to this. Was outpaced over 2m but stayed on having looked like she’d fall out the back of the telly. Back in March over a more sedate pace vs her own sex and I think she’ll be bang there.

….bits of blue on Oddschecker although Hills push her out to 33-1.
