Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Or Mullins’ stable! “Christmas bonuses” spring to mind

      Or Elliot’s the other week.

They’re all at it. Remember the lads and lasses don’t see much of that prize money! They play the Exchanges.

Personally, I doubt Hendo has told Nicholls anything because, from what I understood, they hate each other!! Hendo is thick with Jessie. Him and Nicholls are enemies.

None of the trainer's are enemies. Competitive yes, but they need to work together or else they'd all been competing for the same prize money with all their best horses. Only at the big meetings this goes out the window. Before that, they look after each other. It's a tough game even for the best trainers.

I believe they’re good friends actually and are very accommodating of each other. In fact, a few months back Harry Derham was talking about Nicholls and him having Henderson over to their stable for the morning gallops and a coffee.

          • Pray that Douvan makes the festival. He has had his issues, but once he is declared for a 2 mile race around Christmas. I will 100% be backing him 14/1 before he runs

I stand corrected! Thanks. Had been led to believe the opposite but clearly wrong.

Yes MOM and doesn’t NH frequent Nicholl’s boozer ?
Not that NH needs much encouragement in that department

NH trainers in the West Country owning pubs , Scu and NTD were partners in a pub /restaurant.
                    Bit of name dropping here.....
Stayed at Scu’s pub , had dinner with Scu & his dad , a former Grand National winning jockey ( friend of mine) and a few of my mates
NTD sat on another table with David Bridgwater who’d ridden for him that day.

Was able to reciprocate when they all came to mine
                    I digress, apologies
Scu great bloke, took us around his stables , phew 20 + Years ago
                    Sorry to have bored you

                      • Anyone know any updates on Le Richebourg? I saw Joseph had mentioned he was back with them, but haven’t seen any further updates.

I wouldn't be suspicious with that one, he could be out for the season at any time, but you'd try and keep him low key and steal a ryanair imo. I don't think he'll be going to every dance.

I don't suspect he will either, i'd have thought he'd have been entered though in case the unthinkable happens, and CPS/Min aren't right. CPS has history after all......
Mullins also did mention Xmas for him...

                            • Think Defi will be put under severe pressure in Tingle especially with Onura piling it on and jumping for fun up front and with Politiologue sitting in behind. Both those two are much better going right handed on a tighter track where the fences come thick and fast. Unlike Defi who would prefer to be racing at Cheltenham over half a mile further. Think Politiologue will win and Onura is a fab Ew punt at 33/1 first 3 when we are likely only to get 5 runners max. Big Defi fan but will be Ryanair not CC 100% after Saturday.

                                Makes sense to me but......

Who was it that said Henderson wouldn't take into account the opposition ???

                                As Delia Smith said.
