Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

I think Benie has been steadily backed in the exchanges, and in hindsight this news makes that more explainable rather than off the back of Ricci's comments (which I assumed was the only reason)

    • I still can't see Benie in here. Honeysuckle though, they didn't entirely rule this out. I wonder will the owner now have twitchy feet again.

Just re-watched Ruby last night and he didn't once say to be fair to him that Saldier was working away well or anything, just that he has a few steps to get past if he's going to line up in March. That goes well with the Mullin's quote from today- "hasn't progressed well enough" that still suggests he is potentially doing some form of work.

Personally don't see much untoward here just unfortunate for Saldier and KD (myself) backers.

      • Tuesday 250 mile round trip and looking like my betting boots can stay at home except maybe 50 lines on the placepot.

Agree. The mares is a penalty kick for BDD and WPM always goes for the easiest race. This isn’t the easiest race despite how weak the opposition look

          • Benie in the mares would be at least some good news for anti post backers CH would be a disaster

            • Have added 2pts e/w on supersundae NRNB at 20s.

              Really poor looking race

              • I wouldn’t understand re-routing BDD as well.

Ricci has a runner in Sharjah, yes BDD probably a better horse, but why have 2 in one race so only 1 chance of a winner than keep them in their intended races and 2 chances of winning 2 races.

                • ...plenty of Supasundae ‘top 4’ included in Sky Request a Bet. Not sure if they’ve had time to adjust.

                    Might need to explain that?

Epatante and Pentland Hills over 2 miles

Honeysuckle and Stormy Ireland over 2 and a half miles

I don't think you can be dogmatic about the Mares being easier... or a penalty kick.

Do you really believe Epatante is harder to beat over 2m than Honeysuckle over 2m4f?

I'm just about work work out just how annoying that sceanrio may be personally, so it might change my mind

                    • Misleading to put Klassical Dream and Saldier in the same boat. KD was declared for the DRF so this is obviously very recent. Saldier has been on the easy list for a while. I don't know but I suspect that he's been walking and maybe even cantering but it would take 4 to 6 weeks to get a horse ready to race even from cantering so now is about the right time to pull stumps if they aren't seeing an improvement.
Personally, it feels like they've told us as early as possible and you'd expect that they will be scratched at the next forfeit stage (18/2?). With St Nicky you'd probably be on tenterhooks until the tapes went up.

                      • What a shit start to the weekend. I’ve just worked out how many of Skybet RaB’s and my million pound multiples involve Klassical Dream & Saldier resulting in a financial ten count for me!! How lame is it that we’re looking for each way value or alternatives who may defer to the CH because we have no confidence in the market leaders. Espante, Pentland Hills, Sharjah & Ballyandy must be some of the worst market leaders I can think of for a while.

Every couple of years they call it a weak CH

                            Deffinately.

The mares is a penalty kick for BDD.
Where is the champion deffinately isn't.

The more testing the ground conditions the more chance BDD would have in the champion. She could out stay epatante off the bridle, but she deffinately can't cruise up with her and out speed her

Where as in the mares she beats honeysuckle by going with her and out staying her. Imo shes simply a better stayer than honeysuckle. As long as she jumps round, it's a penalty kick.

Yep. 3 years ago, Yanworth started 2/1 favourite.

                              • Gutted about my saldier singles and multiples but more concerning are surely the reroutes that would screw many of us over. Envoi going here would be a disaster
