I was on the minority backing Couer Sublime for the Triumph last year but I thought they might try and ‘handicap’ him this season rather than aim high. They’ve decided to aim high but I’d want to see more substance before he carries my cash again.

I'd be heartbroken if either Pentland Hills and/or Couer Sublime (to a lesser extent) were good enough for a champion hurdle.
It'd be like when Katchit won.
Or when Wimbledon won the FA cup.
Or Joe Johnson winning the World Snooker championship.
Or when Cliff Richard's - 'Saviours day' kept Vanilla Ice's -'Ice Ice Baby' from the Xmas number one spot.

Coeur Sublime - He's had 7 runs over obstacles and won 2 of them.
He was beaten 3L in the Triumph by Pentland Hills.
Pentland Hills then beat Fakir D'oudaries a neck at Aintree...
Fakir was beaten 2.75L by Fusil Raffles at Punchestown.
Fair to say Pentland Hills and Fusil Raffles both look to have Couer Sublime held on last years form?
Relative to THEIR prices, I can see why Coeur Sublime might be an alright bet.... BUT I think they're [FR and PH] both horribly under priced, and therefore Coeur Sublime isn't that enticing either.

Coko Beach is probably being lined up for the County Hurdle

I think we're heading into a repeat of 2016, where the likes of BVD are starting to aged a little and become more vulnerable whilst we are lacking a superstar from the supreme and neptune
Could this be a renewal where a mare takes this, or something from out field - i.e. a "Labaik" for instance
At 33/1, I can't help myself and had to take a few of those with Elixir De Nutz
Not sure how he would have got on in the supreme, that Tolworth was tough and may have come too soon for him. His injury may be a blessing in disguise allowing the 5 year old time to build up and come back stronger.
Looks like a horse who will enjoy strong pace, and if he needs to led the race himself then so be it - this is nothing new to him and he's shown plenty of battle to fed off anyone coming through
Sounds like connections are targeting the International. BVD doesnt turn up to these, so expect to see some right odd balls trying to seek some prize money...
If he goes I'm sure money will come in for him, and if Colin has him at 90% on then I'd expect his price for this will be cut sharply
It's not a race I'd normally look towards for a Champion Hurdler, however it will be a great race to kick start De Nutz campaign and give him something to build upon
I do think he's going to want soft in that Champ Hurdle, so something to note down

I’ve also backed Elixir De Nutz and Honeysuckle for CH. Given the limited obvious candidates in this market at the moment mainly due to chasing aspirations I can see this season’s renewal having a small field and 33’s & 40’s with a cash out option maybe a very big price on the day if they end up here.
