Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I'd hold off backing Pic D'Orhy for the Greatwood - he runs in France on November 10th - in the Prix Renaud du Vivier at Auteuil.
Much bigger prize. Harry Derham thinks he'll go very well there. Same race they won with Ptit Zig
(Master Dino was the winner last year)

    • 883-1 0.5ptew double Battleoverdoyen 33-1 JLT & Samcro 25-1 RSA
      356-1 0.5ptew double Battleoverdoyen 20-1 RSA & Samcro 16-1 JLT

Don't like Battleoverdoyen in particular but may well end up running on one of these races opposite Samcro.
if they're both fit by March an each way double would be nice to have.

      Kevin likes these.
And has probably already put this up somewhere.

      • Has anyone had a bet returning One Million return (if only). I do one every year and always pick one trainer for all five picks in L31. I always look back at Hendersons stable staff who put that £50 roll up on five few years back and it was never in doubt (Sprinter , Simon sig , Bobs Worth amoungst them) ,think he set up as a trainer now in USA ,but Ill stand corrected if thats wrong.

Any way after deliberation at start of season the unlucky trainer is Elliott and the five are-
        Malone Road - Supreme 16/1
        Cham Classic - NHC 20/1
        Envoi Allen -Ballymore 10/1
        Samcro - JLT 16/1
Delta Work - Gold Cup 14/1

Had win bets on each to cover bet , one winner money back.

        Anyone else?

Are there many bookies that increase payout to £1m ?
And of course after Frankie Dettori’s exploits this Summer they all stopped taking multis, restricting stakes or permitting SP only so the ‘life changer’ may get tougher to place.

Didn’t Unibet pay out £500k on a lucky 31 last week and immediately say they were no longer laying such bets ?

Mine with 365 and it pays £1,368,575.00 to be precise , Not sure if a cap exists but it looks good when i look at my open bets. Ive been offered £49 to cash out already , they must be worried lol

Kevin hasn't put that up, he likes it though.
If he was into trixies he'd consider Champagne Classic too in the 4 miler

                  • I just watched a rerun of the AB race from last Festival. Anyone know what’s happening with Derinross this season? I thought he travelled well for the majority of the race but didn’t see the trip out and finished 6th. I’d be interested in keeping an eye on him if anyone knows what the plan is for him? He hasn’t raced since the Festival

                    • Two I've backed this morning at big odds are Nube Negra and Honeysuckle both at 50s with betfair. As i mentioned in the arkle thread Nube Negras jumping has been so impressive and I can see a fast run Arkle really suiting him. As for Honeysuckle I know she's very likely to go for the Mares but if she runs and wins in the WKD hurdle tomorrow over 2 mile it might give the trainer/owner a bit more to think about. Plus in Mullins stable tour he said Elfile looks one for the Mares and she's the same ownership as Honeysuckle so there's a chance they may be split. Imo worth a small play at 50s.

                      • Was looking closely at honeysuckle for champion myself yesterday Taylor
If she runs against the boys and beats them a couple of times before Xmas they may get ambitious
But stayers might be considered more given trainer comments

                        • No way Honeysuckle is beating the boys over 2m. She'll need the Mares trip minimum IMO.

OK, two ways, they either all get pulled from the race and it's a walkover, or they all fall during the race!
