Am i mad that I can't get away from Mr Adjudacator for this? The awful form of last years Triumph and a poor run behind Espoir D'Allen on his last run should put me right off but I can't get away from the thought that they've put the horse away in order to keep it's handicap mark.
I've never forgiven myself for not backing Arctic Fire for this because of the lack of a prep run (albeit a much longer absense).
I'm not sure they're similar at all to be honest?
Mullins doesn't really campaign them to protect a handicap mark for the festival... and Arctic Fire came in with placed form from a previous CH.
Farclas has done nothing for the form either... it's hard to say he's well handicapped on ANY of his form?
Oh I'm absolutely not comparing Arctic Fire to Mr Adjudactor qualitywise, just Mullins has history with training horses that are lightly raced or are coming back from a break in order to win this. I think he trained a lightly raced Thousend Stars to win this years ago too.
Already mentioned how poor last years Triumph form has worked out but Mr Adjudactor has a better H2H record up against Farclas so willing to say that that Elliot's horse winning last year was an anomaly for arguments sake.
