No, it was Monday 8th Jan 2018

So I'm taking a small leap it's Monday 7th Jan this year (or Tuesday 8th)

        • Fingers crossed they make a mistake similar to Samcro at 7/1 for the Supreme after they do

          • I see An article on sky racing suggesting katson is targeting the Albert Bartlett River Don Novices’ Hurdle at Doncaster, I know a few others were interested in the horse for some of the other novice hurdles

            • Anyone heard anything about Easy Game? Not listed by PP in the Albert Bartlett where I have him backed at 20/1 with Bet365 so considering a cash out? PP have him 20's for the Neptune.

              • Interesting. I said at the time he won a slowly run race with a nice turn of foot. Others thought it was a staying performance.

No, but better no price than them being standout?

I'm leaving it for now. Certainly until 365 are NRNB anyway

                  • Added Birchdale for this with WH 27.5-1,
looking at the warwick entry saturday suggests they may go bartlett, if things go to plan.
Could revert to ballymore 50/50 I suppose if things pan out in that direction, and this race seems to favour horses for both the staying novice races.
I Know he lacks experience for bartlett trends but he may just be very good, and there's a reasonable chance they may want Champ to not be beaten by one of their own,

                    already got
                    DErrinstown 50-1
                    Robin de carlow 50-1
                    Rockpoint 33-1
                    Emitom 33-1

had downtown getaway but cashed for money back

Unless they think (know) Birchdale is better than Champ, then Champ comes to the Bartlett instead.

                      • Yeah must admit Im slightly worried about how they split up Champ and Birchdale. Birchdale was a 3m pointer so its hard to rule out the AB.

Shame they have 2 ideal types for the Ballymore, which means one will probably be comprised slightly and re-routed.

Yeah maybe so Kev. Doing the same.

                          • If Nicky's going to be spitting champ and birchdale......I think birchdale comes here, the way champ races so keen surely this is not the race for him?....just my opinion

                            • Birchdale is a three mile chaser next season so if they do decide to split, I would say Birchdale would come here. He may also be looked after as well for next season. Birchdale is set to run in the Leamington Spa at the weekend and Hendo won that with Mr Whipped last season en route the the Albert Bartlett. Could be nothing though.

Really like Emitom. Jumped and travelled like a good horse. He had a setback over Christmas. Needs to get some more experience under his belt now.
