....long way to go, but a bit of fun.

The opposition are going to run scared. He's just going to have a procession every time he races.
He's beaten the square root of nothing in that race just then.
It remains to be seen what his jumping will be like when he's got someone upsides exerting pressure.
Not sure he'll be able to jump like that in softer ground, he might need it on the better side.
I'd want to see him against proper grade one animals before I think he's the next sprinter sacre.

I've just been possessed by the resident Grouch.

That's similar to what you could have said about Sprinter Sacre after his debut though isn't it?

      Or Altior?

The closest I can think of, is when people though Min will put it up to Altior, and he didn't get there....

I assume Willie will have something single figures, it'll be a decent clash and we'll see who is best.

Until then, we won't know....but that doesn't mean he's not a star either...

Aaah, the old secret after timed double.

        Well done.

Henry VIII I imagine next up. Maybe he'll take in that Grade 2 in open company before winning the Arkle like Altior did, what's it called, not the Desert Orchid, the one he beat Fox Norton in....

I'm with Charlie. I think the rest of you have been at the amyl nitrate.

To be clear, absolutely nothing wrong today but the price is just crazy. I'd rather back him in a double or treble at odds on (NRNB or on the day) than take less than 2/1 over 3 months out.

I haven't backed him at anything less than 4/1 archie

...and haven't suggested for anyone to back him at the current price?

.....and all my singles on him have been roll ups.....

.....and he's in multiples, as you have done with Envoi Allen.....

.......charlie's kayak becomes a canoe though...... anyone else want to board?
            • Shishkin is shorter for the Arkle than Envoi Allen is for the Marsh - that's not the right way around.

Make that a two man canoe as I'm paddling with Charlie Big Potatoes too.
Nothing sinister on my part as they are both likely to be head and shoulders above their rivals, I just don't back those types of bets.

Well said Q. Potential superstar. Every chance we won't see him in deep water till Cheltenham which would be a shame.

We definitely won't will we, absolutely nothing to give him a race that's gone novice chasing at this distance?

Same as when Simonsig or Sprinter Sacre went novice chasing?

Thank goodness for the Irish power houses....

Envoi - Drinmore.. something at Christmas or Dublin Festival, Marsh and Punchestown

Shishkin - Henry 8th, Something late December/early January, Arkle and Aintree/Sandown (potentially)
Have they said what the plan is for Shishkin? I'd skip Sandown and go to Kempton on 27th December. Then Newbury in Feb and on to Cheltenham.

Exactly, we'll find out in March how good he really is, although in his defence he didn't enter deep water till March last year and did the business, arguably the hard way.

Thanks Craigy. That's the race that Sprinter absolutely destroyed Peddlers Cross in a few years ago.
