    • backed Belargus for Fred Winter a few weeks back at 28's AP.
Backed again at 25s NRNB 365.
Mark of 129 looks perfectly ok
And when I backed it last time I mentioned the race it won last time has a good reputation for good juveniles.
Think that the stamina test of the fred winter will suit.
Might possibly be a gambled on horse which would be encouraging but might also go relatively unnoticed.
Might not run as no idea of target but looks an obvious type to try the fred winter.

            • no worries, watch his last run, looked useful for a 129 rated horse

              • Willie watch!!!!

2 more unplaced today. The fav in the first went off 6/5 was beaten 22L. Only other runner ran in the second race went off 11/2 and fell at the last when beaten (both jockey and horse looked to get up ok, which was good news) and was looking like she was a moderate 4th and struggling for a place, Again Im just pointing out coz of the distance his horses are being beaten when they are short in the betting, think it's worth highlighting the current stable form, though as mentioned before its a smallish sample size, which is growing.

                Since Dublin he's had 15 runners 1 winner at 8/13, 14 losers, 3 x PU. 1 x Fall and others were beaten 17L, 23L, 17L, 96L, 4L, 23L, 85L, 6L, 31L, 22L

Forms looks decent aswell. If he can jump aswell again.

I like elysees and fanfan du seuil. But cant get a decent price on either unfortunately.

                  • Billy, on the market price Andalusa underperformed, but if you look at the winners ratings, he was entitled to beat her. 22l is more than probably expected, but hardly a big worry.

The other didn't look to have much form either?

Is this not due to the fact WM is still running mostly his summer horses or horses that act on better ground, in which at this time of year coming up against better horses from other yards.

                      • Would say so monk! Have a look at bumper runners etc. Thin on the ground. He has a lot that won't be seen before Cheltenham due to the ground and missing trips to schooling races etc.

                        • Thats for everyone to make up their own mind these are the figures this year since Dublin as posted already and against his figures from the corresponding fixtures last year.

                          Since Dublin he's had 15 runners 1 winner at 8/13, 14 losers, 3 x PU. 1 x Fall and others were beaten 17L, 23L, 17L, 96L, 4L, 23L, 85L, 6L, 31L, 22L
So one winner which is 6.6% win strike rate non of the other horses placed!!!!!!!!!!!

Last year 2,1,F,2,2,F,2,PU,1,2,1,2,4,2,PU,2,3,1, 18 runners 4 wins (22.22% win strike rate), 12 of the 18 runners won or placed (66.66% of them won or placed)

I wont mention this again just thought it was interesting, there could be a number of reasons for the change in results.
(i did make a few quid though today :-))
