Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • Mayo posts a few doesn't he from The Donn?

I've taken a punt at 14's on Cilaos Emery after Joey Sasa boosted the form and I'm actually tempted by Saturnas now. Some 20's available, for a 2m Mullins G1 winner... If Riven Light or even Peace News would have won that the Supreme market would look totally different

both Saturnas and Cilaos Emery have very close form. One is 20s the other 12s. Which one will Ruby choose?
Airlie Beach would be a big player but looks to be going elsewhere.

          Sorry Kev missed this.
I met the owners at Cheltenham a few weeks ago, great story about one of them taking a call from Donald McCain who asked him if he;d backed Cinders & Ashes yet, he said no and McCain said the horses work is unbelievable and on this form he's win teh Champion.
Owner disappears outside to make a call to his bookie, has £10k e/w 33/1.
At the time he made the call the bins were being collected and one of the binmen who knew the owner overheard the conversation with the bookie, he then went home raided the savings accounts and had £3k e/w 33/1.
Just after Cheltenham the binman retired, knocked on owners door, shook his hand and said without knowing it you've changed my life.
          Love that story....

Interesting news from Saturnas owners. Ive just had a nibble @20s for the neptune.

He is set to tackle two and a quarter miles at Leopardstown on February 12 and owner Nicky Peacock expects him to go up in distance again at the Festival.

He said: "We were obviously delighted with him at Leopardstown and the handicapper has put him up 7lb, so he obviously felt it was a good performance.

"Paul (Townend) felt the winner got a bit of a soft lead at Fairyhouse. They let her get away and they couldn't peg her back. Time will tell on that one.

"Our horse won nicely in the end the other day, hopefully he'll continue to progress and I think his next race will be the Deloitte.

"We'll see where we go after that. We're hoping to go Cheltenham and I think the Neptune would be more likely than the Supreme, but we'll leave it up to Willie.

"We'll see what else Willie has nearer the time, but hopefully he'll be shuffled into the pack somewhere."

Always keep tabs on Wicklow plots for the fest. It's like that's all they focus on.

He won't have slipped under the radar will he compared to Wicklow? Maybe a poor run in the Deloitte could mask him a bit? (Doesn't tend to be the Willie way?) WB did go under my radar though so I wouldn't know without looking it up how similar the profiles are.... I could be way off the mark!

10/1 seems value, although the doubt over target would no doubt be factored in.
                                NRNB with Sky? Tempted
