Well....serious egg on my face after todays race.I really think the horse could lay down a strong marker for the Supreme tomorrow. We should be able to get a good gauge of where he stands in the Supreme market...
He jumped and travelled really well through most of the race but then found nothing. He drifted massively in the market from being a near evens fav to 11/4. Not sure if something was up with him. Maybe a step up in trip could help him or maybe he just couldn't cope with the step up in grade. I know Henderson did question the quality of his Kempton win. His point to point form took a knock in the last race too with both Claimantakinforgan and Minella Warrior disappointing.
I certainly haven't given up on LDS yet but I won't go on about him anymore in here though - certainly won't be winning the Supreme, nor will anyone in the race probably.Comment

High Bridge 33-1
I know a couple may not turn up but I am pretty keen on high Bridge and Avenir dune vie. With most bumper runners ending up being stayers these 2 stood out as travelling into the race then being out stayed. Both have won fto over hurdles and imo represent good value.Comment

Welcome. Agree on Avenir Dune Vie, one of the few winners from the Cheltenham Bumper isn't he.
I haven't watched Lough Derg Spirit's race yet, can't bring myself to do it knowing there is 33 available and I had 1pt each way at 25s.

I might have a bit on Invitation Only for the Supreme NRNB at 25/1 ... didn't they say "he surprised us with his pace" .... wouldn't be the craziest switch of all time, Yorkhill Belllshill this year.... could be the same with Crack Mome, especially if trhere isn't a standout in the Supreme from the yard?Comment

Oh Yes I 100% agree, but my point is this time last year it was Yorkhill Supreme, Bellshill Neptune, Up For Review Albert Bartlett and after Bellshill ran in Ireland in about Feb (guess) they made a late switch....
I just though with 25/1 NRNB IO isn't the worst bet ever and as is proven time and time and time and time again, the most obvious Mullins horses do sometimes have late switches....

He doesn't look to be racing with the same exuberance as last year - he looks lazy and unless they cure that and sort out his jumping, he's getting nowhere near to winning a supreme.
