  • Skybet did a special on Moon Racer coz it was Pipes stable tour in RP yesterday, i think from memory they did a similar incentive last year for each of the trainers when they featured.

    • Gentleman do we think Jenkins is more likely to run in the supreme or Neptune?

      • It'll be the supreme in my opinion

        • Massively disappointed by the Mullins stable tour on at the races, no clear out lay for any horse apart from Djakadam really, yorkhill could go chasing but Willie thinks he'll be a fine hurdler, Vroum Vroum Mag is to play the role of super sub this season where other ricci horses are injured or not suited to races over both codes, limini may stay 2m4f for the mares at the fes, Vatour undecided apart from the King George, shaneshill and Nichols canyon should both make staying hurdlers, that will be handy under the same ownership!! In de sceaux probably spends most the season in France, Faugheen may start out in the Hattons grace over 2m4f or in the morigana with Annie power, just endless open ended quotes, basically anything could run anywhere....!! Not much changed

Supreme ... "lots of gears" and the fact he got collared after "idolling in front" in his 2nd start doesn't suggest to me he wants further at this stage anyway!

              • Vroum Vroum Mag a supersub according to WM on his stable tour? I just can't see her not turning up at Cheltenham, even in one of the handicaps she would be very difficult to beat so,have had a wager on the any race market

I think they meant throughout the season she'll step in where ever needed as a super-sub. Obviously the same for the festival... The 11/4 about her is massive in my opinion. I backed it thinking she was most likely to go for the Mares race which I am not as sure about now, but if Limini doesn't look up to the task then they won't want to pass up on this and she won't be anywhere near 11/4!

                    yanworth world hurdle
                    Min arkel

Each way trixie.. All pretty much target assured and pretty decent value I think at the prices

                    • For anyone else interested in Ok Corral (he's of interest for me in the Albert Bartlett), an update yesterday:

We are making slow progress. He’s a horse that’s tests us quite a lot and he’s obviously had plenty of issues and I wouldn’t think we’ll see him this side of Christmas.
and also mentioned (you'd have to take this negatively too..) about Beat That:

He (Beat That) is going to take time but we’re coming along nicely. He’s a little bit ahead of OK Corral and we’re getting there.
Correct me if i'm wrong but I'm sure that whenever Henderson has said a horse is having issues and won't be seen until AFTER Christmas they rarely end up racing that season (likely as he is a very cautious trainer and would rather wait another year and not risk his horses) so definitely wouldn't be rushing into any antepost bet on him after hearing that but very keen to see him if/when he does get back out on the track

                      • He is careful with his top horses for sure... as a general rule you're always better seeing one that has been out for a while make a comeback and in the case of the horses above, their potential is factored in to their prices already

                        • Intersting chat with Patrick Mullins on the link below. Suggests Invitation Only could be an AB horse (although says he has followed the same path as Yorkhill). Also says he wouldn't be surprised if Min turned the tables on Altior in the Arkle...

                          • Taken 33s on Robin Roe for spud race.

                            Pre race from Dan

                            1.40 Aintree – Robin Roe

I’m really excited about this horse and pleased that we can get started with him. I think the ground is going to be great up at Aintree, so it should be absolutely fine for him. We start him off in this maiden hurdle, although Paul has a nice horse in the race in Winningtry. This is always a decent race, but I do like Robin Roe a lot. He’s won a point to point and he’s won a bumper, so we are expecting a decent level of form from him. I’m just looking forward to getting started; he’s jumped well at home and done everything right, so now’s the time to see him on the track.
