Not Cheltenham but which bookie has Aidan O'Brien at 5/2 to brake his own world record of group 1 wins in a season?

Cheers, sigh of relief. Just needs to take it up now and win. Have him backed for Supreme and Turners. Won the 2m 1f maiden with Romeo Coolio last year so his winners can go anywhere, guess it just depends how it pans out. Would Romeo have gone Supreme if not for The Yellow Clay going Turners?Entered in the Saturday hurdle race too @Runragged
Sounds like he's very much ground dependant so he'd not want a wet Fez. Imagine he'd take a break after this weekend to avoid the winter ground?Anyone got a strong view on Western Fold for March ? He is quite the conundrum to me. Won 4 Chases in a row including the Galway Plate and the G2 PWC Champion Chase. OR 157 and yet still a novice for the full season. Entered in the 3m G1 Champion Chase at Down Royal this Saturday. Looks a great bet for the BANC but will Gordon revert to novice chases for the Spring Festivals ? A number of bookies are not quoting him for the BANC but that might be because they are not aware he remains a novice for the season. Help !!!!!!!!!
Yes. There's a 70p rule 4 now on casheldale lads original price yesterday evening which was 11/4 I think. Which makes his revised odds after the rule 4 somewhere around 4/5 I believe, but he is now something like a 2/7 chance with bookies, and could get even shorter.Anyone got a view on Elliott declaring 2 horses at the top of the betting for races and consistently pulling one out on the day ?
Couple of races tomorrow where I suspect he will pull one out
Question is what is the advantage of doing that ?
Is the deduction paying better than the revised prices ?
From 31 October 2025, gambling businesses are required to remind you every 6 months if they hold your funds and they are not protected. You must acknowledge receipt of the notification before you will be allowed to use funds held for gambling.Dunno if any of you guys use them but i have just had a strange message from Geoff Banks Bet.
"In the event of company insolvency, customer funds are no longer protected"
Bloody hell is all that about. I haven't done any festival bets online but that sounds iffy
Cheers Envoi. First time i have ever seen owt like that. The bookies get more peculiar every day. Been to 3 bookies today all for Cheltenham. Bootlegging for betting slips to try and not being asked any questionsFrom 31 October 2025, gambling businesses are required to remind you every 6 months if they hold your funds and they are not protected. I'm convinced there is, and always has been, a very unhealthy relationship between the regulator and bookmakers, so little makes sense and so little protection of customers interests, it stinks....Wow, didn’t know that
How can a bookmaker be licensed by the GC and yet have different rules around protection of customers funds in the event of insolvency?…….surely customers money should be ring fenced (escrow etc) and this be part of the licensing conditions, so all bookmakers should do it?
How have the GC allowed this as part of a bookmakers conditions that they don’t have to protect your monies, just drop you an email every six months telling you as much!………how is this protecting/looking out for the customer?
GC a ‘kin joke![]()
