I think Salvator Mundi and Bunting may be held back to next season. Certainly the former.

I suspect Kargesse, Majborough, and Karia Des Blaises will be his main juvenile darts. There'll probably be something else come out of the woodwork too. Willie seems to like more and more juveniles to go to war with, and likes a top dart for the Boodles too.

On a line through Kaid de Ciergues, Karia des Blaises would be a stone behind the likes of Sir Gino and Salvator Mundi, so she might be one to handicap for the Boodles. Kargesse and Majborough are probably the ones to concentrate on, and Bunting too if he gets an entry.

I don't see that line Spectre perhaps you have Kaid De Ciergues and Kador De Ciergues mixed up? Both are Masterstrokes for Leenders

Indeed I have HTO. The problem of relying on memory!

I should add for clarity that it's the Kaid de Cierges formline that has Karia des Blaises a stone behind Sir Gino and Salvator Mundi. Fabuleux Rico is the horse that runs through the middle, and also crosses into Kador de Cierges.

Kador de Cierges is essentially a separate formline until you get to Sir Gino and Salvator Mundi. I mixed the two up because of similarity of names when rating both Sir Gino and Salvator Mundi. Both of which for info I have higher than the French handicapper.

It's certainly dangerous backing those juvenile maidens without any clear guidance on whether they'll be campaigned this season or not. The fact that there are 9 horses in the poll validates that risk too.

Would love a video on this process Spectre. Have seen others mention giving personal ratings to horses. A walkthrough process I would definitely watch

Plenty were left out too.. couldn’t make it any bigger!

And still time for my purchases too. I think Gust Of Wind and Zenta were purchased around this time last season.

Yea Gust of Wind and Jit Langy we’re around this time, both had ran in the Prix Pride of Kildare (end of Sept) before they were sold.

Kuartz looks the one to take out of this years renewal along with the double green winner who you’d assume stays with Nicholle

From OJA I take Majborough as one to take note of, his time in the Prix Grandak looks favourable against Sir Gino. Still to look further into Kargese but I have noted that one down for some reason.

Need 365 to pull their finger out, restricted with Hills

Hard enough to compare times on races ran the same day with different paces/field sizes but races ran couple weeks apart on different ground I wouldn't take much notice to be honest.

Hi Spectre is that something youve heard re Salvator Mundi or your own take with him being a novice, Ive not backed yet as im concerned with them maybe waiting till next year. He is the most interesting for me if they decide to get him out this season.

Been a good few whispers going round twitter now that he is going to be held back

I know a few in here are keen on Bunting so that won’t please many.
Is there any history of Mullins holding back a JP horse ?
l always believed JP bought his horses to run them as soon as they’re ready…

Aren’t they Donnellys and Tony Bloom owned?

Sorry my mistake, I thought Bunting was JP.
Thanks for correcting…

True but it's all I've got at the moment

There aren't many Ista, but one from last year who was held back was Joueur Masque. He features in last year's and this year's OJA.

Thanks, do you still have the comments from 2022 OJA ?
Could be very useful…
