Weather Watch 2026

Worth noting for anyone punting these markets that there's not a chance they call the ground soft for the first race of the fez, unless it's borderline heavy. Was it 2024 they changed it after the first race when it was obviously soft to everyone watching?
Here are the official going reports for the Supreme in each of the last 8 years. I have added Timeform assessment for interest. It has been officially soft in 5 of the last 8 years, G/S twice and Heavy once.

2025 Good to Soft (Timeform G/S)
2024 Soft (changed to heavy later in card) (Timeform Heavy)
2023 Soft (Timeform Soft)
2022 Good to Soft (Timeform Good)
2021 Soft (changed to G/S later in card) (Timeform G/S)
2020 Soft (Timeform Soft)
2019 Soft (Timeform Soft)
2018 Heavy (changed to soft later in card) (Timeform Soft)

I thought they ruled good-soft in 2024 and changed to soft after race one, which caused a shit storm for these bet settlements? Could be wrong mind

I'm just hoping it does stay Soft (but no worse) as all this season they've ran on crap ground and we definitely don't want a replication of last year where the quicker ground did us all in.

Looking at the forecast, it'll be G/F by Friday!!!!

Which races exactly went against you cos of the ground ?

That's racing though.....

And certainly for the next seven days a fairly settled forecast, with rising temperatures. All we need now is the inevitable plunge on Banbridge as the course waters to avoid anything remotely nearing firm being in the forecast by the Thursday/Friday before an unprecedented downpour on the Tuesday night Wednesday morning - the next scheduled name for a storm btw is going to be D for Dave - brings it back to heavy, as experts decry the obvious high water level!!!!
