First racing forum I've been on where there's not a thread on tv coverage of racing, unless I've missed it.

Anyway this is not a criticism but I've just realised ITV4 are covering Clonmel from 1.30pm this afternoon, so in case anyone else didn't realise, now you know :congratulatory:

Power of Pause and Shattered Love at Clonmel.

Got excited when I saw that the Juvenile Hurdle was part of the ITV7...

Still, I think this is absolutely fantastic. Irrespective of ones opinion on the Cerberusian (?) presenting format, any midweek racing on terrestrial television is to be celebrated. Particularly as it won't be interfering with Minder, The Professionals or The Sweeney during the winter.

Where do people watch the racing?

I have RTV and Sky Sports Racing....and I end up watching it on a live Dubai racing feed most weekends just so I don't have to flick channel :highly_amused:

I watch it at home

When working only get to watch on my phone, not ideal, but do try and catch up and watch any I wanted to re watch again later. Took tomorrow off ad hopefully be hungover after celebrating Northern Ireland qualifying for the Euros and watching Cheltenham on ITV.

Don't have RTV would anyone recommend?

Probably not for ?25 a month unless you're going to start watching more than you currently would?
Split screens are annoying most Saturdays...

I should cancel it really I don't watch it enough to make it worthwhile BUT I'd end up getting to the major festivals over Christmas and being livid that I didn't have everything easily accessible.

Definitely not. You can watch all races for free on Betfair.

I couldn't be without it. They have all Irish racing and most of the big tracks. It depends how much you'd watch it but for less than ?1 a day, it's money well spent for me.

You'll probably get it for ?10 a month during black Friday.

Which stream is that Kev? It'd be handy for 'on the go'. The bookies video windows on the apps is too small to be useful.

I watch Racing TV and Sky Sports Racing on the TV at home, not the IPad, PC or phone.

The reason is that the feed of racing for Racing TV is far quicker through the television than any other device - and miles quicker than ITV Racing.

That makes it handier if I want to back something post-race, or occasionally back one while I am watching the race and when a horse is entering the straight going like a champion.

Cannot wait for November Festival at Cheltenham tomorrow.
The first time for 15 or more years I am not at the track, but I’m going to enjoy 3 days in front of Racing TV immersing myself in the coverage.:loyal:

RTV usually do a Black Friday offer FWIW. I think this winter may require an investment in proper channels. Have played with some of the feeds but too slow and sticky. I’d pay extra to mute Chapman.

Completely agree Mayo, i can't stand Chapman, IMO ITV have really upped there game in last few years, but Chapman just spoils it for me. He knows little about racing, and is always shouting. You have a mic for gods sake. Mind i have to admit i did like the phone in show he did on ATR, but only for all the lunatics who rang in.

I've actually always thought that when he stops shouting and trying to be a character, his knowledge is good, but it's always overshadowed by him being a tit.

Has anyone ever called On The Line, on here?
