Triumph Hurdle 2020

Mick Pastor is 25/1 NRNB with Skybet. I know he is fav with them for the Boodles but if he runs here he wont be 25/1
On the back of a few members comments in the boodles thread im gunna throw a dart at this! Allmankind still my biggie for it though!

On a pure price comparison, i think Never Do Enough is overs. Alright it's because he beat Aspire Tower on the flat, and it looks like AT has improved lumps for hurdles. Though, we are talking 8/11 vs 14/1 to find out.
Not sure if Rayapour is fit + well or what's going on.

I am a big fan of Aspire Tower and have him backed @ 22/1 for the Triumph. Would only back him in multiples on the day at likely odds. Never Do Enough has nearly 4l in hand on AT on their 2nd flat meeting (can ignore 1st meet). NDE looked very good at Muss 1st time over hurdles but needs to brush up his jumping.
Of the others @ Leopardstown JOBs 2 aren't G1 horses, Rayapour - who knows, Wolf Prince - trainer not keen to take on AT again.
That to me leaves Gin on Lime (winner in France got the "impressive" nod/ 1st run for Jessica) and NDE as the most likely dangers. If he turned up there on the day and was available at 14/1 I would be all over him ew. But with the doubt in my mind whether he will be declared I wouldn't take it now.

I see Aspire Tower and Gin On Lime are due to meet @ Leopardstown on the 2/2/20 in the race which Sir Eric won last year. Tattersalls Ireland Spring Juvenile Hurdle (Grade 1)

Is rayapour injured then was that just a early entry before setback?

I think the thing is we don't know, but I wouldn't back him to win a grade 1 in his first race over hurdles.
BTW I just spotted in RP that he was gelded on 6/01/20

Rayapour quoted as 2nd fav for that race....ummmmm

Any news if Grand Roi will be out again soon? Would quite fancy him in this if it was his target and he can jump...ride the last day was very tender

Entered up at Warwick next week and also being given Triumph entry i am told.

Amazing news.... managed to get on at 50s...

All the horse does is gallop he doesnt have a change of foot so expect him next time he runs (which will be over hurdles) to go from the front and try and make all. He has three options over the next few weeks and all 3 over hurdles, his bumper days now are done. But id be surprised if he pitches up here, he wont have the experience for a race like this, he would need to show something very special next run for this to be a consideration.

Patrick Mullins says
Rayapour - May be kept for next year - see how he is working at the time
Micromanage - concentrating on flat campaign not on track for triumph

Thanks Billy, Fingers crossed then and a decent win will see him shorten dramatically for this I’m sure as looks to be a decent race

Shows the speculation about an injury was a load of rubbish
