Triumph Hurdle 2019

Scooby avoiding the direct questions, start calling you Theresa I think....

If people start spouting on Twitter he's Had a setback ... might nt make it... Might not even bother entering him.... Still up in the air ....

and the owner might not even be available to have been told yet.... And comes across It on Twitter... it would come back to who ever they told this morning. It's not nice. And if that was the case they may never mention anything to that said person again.

It. Was. A. Joke. :highly_amused:

I do get your position/stance though. It would not be good for owner/trainer or any other person connected to the yard, even in small ownership, should someone say something that isn't their right to do so :)

biggest bet in years ?
That's a bit dangerous based on juvenile form, developing and growing and all that.
No pressure on scooby there then.

My biggest bet of the year, too.

No pressure on him at all.

We're all adults. Well, most of the time :D

Now makes sense why Betfair (Nicholls bookmaker pals), are the only firm, along with their sister, remaining @ 16's for Pic D'Orhy!!

Sneaky sods!

Pic isn’t injured is he FS just done a Trixie literally 10mins ago in the bookies

read through triumph thread and make your own mind up, nothing concrete )until it's set anyway).

If you go back swiftly and tell them you did the wrong horse, they may let you off and change it. If not then there's still a chance he can make it. You'll know Thursday if the owners decided to enter him. If he has then there's still a chance he can get there ready in time

Il let it ride hope for the best send us cotton wool n sugar lumps to the Nicholls yard :highly_amused:

...didn’t like to say anything when I saw you post it in the other thread, but folk have been talking about it on here for a while. Fingers crossed all is ok.

No wonder there is an "us and them" mentality with bookies

Cheers Scooby for the head's up. My risk reducing strategy is use of free bets in addition to real money. Did open up a couple of accounts for this horse. One in the name of my wife where I tried for an 'ignorance refund' as i like to call it, no luck. But did manage to get 40 quid of free credits refunded from 365 and cashed out a multi with BFSB 1st leg won at a decent price and Pic was third leg. Will lose a few quid still but glad to recoup something

If it was one of Hendos you could find out if anything was wrong via the Betfair exchange......

£209 available to back at 15.5 on Pic D’orhy on the exchanges. Significant compared to what’s on offer elsewhere. Red flags/alarm bells?

To be fair that's 2 points less than PP and last matched at 16s so personally wouldn't read much into that
