Triumph Hurdle 2019

I doubt anyone really cares enough to do this but

365 are 11/10 for "the field" versus Pic D'orhy and Quel Destin

but they're 10/11 for Sir Erec

So if you did fancy Sir Erec and didn't want to take 10/11, you can take 11/10 and have the rest of the field running for you just in case. effectively 11/10 to lay Pic D'orhy and Quel Destin.

Wasted a few minutes of my life there.

Im always interested in these bets, iv had a look on 365 but I can only see "sir erec & QD" vs the field?....

Looks like they've changed it, it's now 4/6 with SE in...

Rubbish.

Well I had an edge for about 14 minutes.

Weather:

Good/Soft on both old & new all over..

Dry overnight. Friday looks set to remain largely overcast with a chance of showers this morning, followed by another breezy
afternoon. Temperatures of around 11C.

This will make me change my bets, as I was going to have river & pic, both drifting badly with the going update

I just started following a guy called marmaduke jinks on twitter this week who does speed figures and apparently used to live next to Auteuil. He says very soft in France is not the same as here and Pic would prefer better ground and has been very surprised Nicholls has been touting that the softer the better for him.

On this chaps speed ratings Pic is well clear of the field and I have been quite impressed with some of the stuff I have seen from him this week so I wouldnt desert Pic solely on the basis he needs really soft ground.

Quite a drift going on with Pic, seems to be all red on oddschecker.

Be the ground.

Hopefully, we're Lucky it's the 1st race.
As if it was the 2nd and the jockeys came in saying the ground was quick enough, They'd likely pull him and save him for another day.

Iv no excuses in terms of his performance.

I wouldn't be too concerned yet. Frodon was incredibly easy to back until 5 minutes before the off.

Also the bookmakers had priced him very defensively in the first place, he's probably out to the right price now

tricast 3 irish horses from dublin

Just started raining where I am about 10 miles from Cheltenham

Mark Walsh 2.25/1 to be top jockey a better bet than 9/10 the favourite ? Barry has chances but hard to see a winner. If he wins Jamie can’t catch him and struggling to see a Nico winner.

How is it standing right now?

Pic out to 14/1.....that’s a pretty significant drift.

Claude on RTV says 12/1 is a disgraceful price (as in, insulting) - a definite each way bet!

Go on Claude :p
