Triumph Hurdle 2019

No guarantee of a big field these days.

Yeah once they go a clip and he has to jump quicker and slicker then we will see like you say. If he gets an easy lead like that then he will probably win. But surely in a big field something will take him on.

Fakir doudaries has no choice but to lead and he'll go a hell of a clip at that. A big test for all of them. One poor jump like adjali reaching at 1 last time , or dogon making a hash of 2 as hed never been that clip before and your in trouble

There will be, Paul has atleast 3, hendo has 3, munir and souede, mullins and Joseph plus what Gordon has and that's without the other yards. . Almost certainly be a big field

Only 9 runners last year not typical Triumph field
Yankee landed, can’t place too much on result, beat what was there

I was very impressed with that; with his flat form you’d certainly expect him to be staying on up the hill

Yep, you could be right and last years was thinner on account of the ground.
And there's not a lot of options for these types.
But all those trainers know which battles are worth fighting also.

I have Sir Erec covered in exactly zero bets. Happy the JP horse makes the market. I still think Fakir is a better bet either before that race today and definitely now at them prices.

Will await Pic D'Orhy making his UK debut and a new favourite will be born. If not its money back for that one on the most part anyway and I'll have Fakir anyway.

BTW I'm taking nothing away from Sir Erec today. He was good. Just not for me once I missed any good prices about him.

If I was joseph, I'd send Fakir for the supreme.
that's got to be a worry

All NRNB for me, so wouldn't bother me too much. Just would only have Adjali really if Pic D'Orhy didn't turn up.

If Fakir was mine I'd want him in the Triumph myself. Easier race, and I actually think he's better than Sir Erec, but because SE is JP's he always gets the Triumph favourite regardless in recent years.

No sweat then. if NRNB.
Out of interest does anyone know the last entire colt to have run in the triumph ?
Cos that's got to be intimidating for the ladies and the eunuch's, following his big cock and balls around.

If Joseph sent one of his 4yo's to the Supreme what weight would they carry?

check out Fakir's rating and add 8lb ??? and he'll look a good thing.

The only problem is whether the base line 4 year old form is correct

Looking at Adjali's rating you'd think not?

We know it's not, I can't fathom how it gets all skewed every season.
He'll look a good thing but in reality he'll just have a good chance.

I did take the NRNB 'related' double so I'll be happy enough to see it!
