Triumph Hurdle 2019

Fenta Des Obeaux declared tomorrow.

5/4 is a horrendous price tomorrow. 24 runners some unexposed ones of the flat. And to add to that she could literally go off on one like never adapt did.
One for the future, pleasant suprise if that's tomorrow.

37-1 with a boost any race, much more to our liking.

I'd watch and wait. She's a nutter. You'll see tomorrow.
She either makes all and looks an absolute machine. Or looks an idiot.

Went to boil the kettle. Cameback. And missed it! :highly_amused:

backed first two in that for today on back of Fenta likely being a nutter.
Both looked good.
Interesting with P O'brien now as he has two good maiden winners, who goes to dublin and who does the yard think is the best ?

Both a run in between possibly. Could do with a bit of jumping practice.

Sir Erec definitely the better jumper.

Which of the Irish do you think may be lined up for the Fred winter? Some big reputations have been dented so far. Maybe Willie or Jospeh know there best juvenile but can line one up for the handicap

There's still plenty to come out in Ireland. Don't forget it's atleast 3 runs needed for the fred winter too. So hard to say at this stage

They look like they've been handicapping Couer sublime pretty well already (harsh)
But can't see a rating in Irish handicap site as he fell last time, but would imagine he'll be around 120ish so needs to perform well next time.

He was a short head second in a grade 3 and would have been in the first two in the grade 2 Knight Frank before falling at the last. That seems more like a preparation for a Triumph contender than the Fred Winter. If he was going to the Fred Winter I think he’d already be in the 130’s.

based what i said on chief justice being rated 124 according to ATR - although this might be wrong

There is no rating for Chief Justice on the HRI website nor RP either. That could be a mistake by ATR.

Chief Justice got 124 (UK) for his first 2 wins. The 3 runs since then would probably put him up at least 10lb and maybe more but he won't get a new rating in the UK until Cheltenham. No official Irish mark yet.

Yeah I looked in all the usual places myself.
Hard to rate them though when none of them have ratings isn't it ?
But Jackie and yourself are right that both CS and CJ are probably rated higher, although how much I'm not sure
Through King D'argent and cracker factory around 130 would be fair for CJ so maybe 125 ish for sublime.

Although this is not the most scientific approach, take a glance at some of the ratings from last year and check their form out. There were a lot with 130+ ratings who never ran in a graded race, let alone placed in one.

definitely not scientific. ;)

Even less scientific, RPRs have CJ up a stone in his last 2 races.
