Samcro and Apples Jade set to be entered in the Aintree Hurdle with AJ also having an entry in the 3m
 
16 entered in the Aintree Hurdle inc Apple’s Jade, Benie des Dieux, Buveur d’Air, Faugheen, If The Cap Fits, Melon, Petit Mouchoir, Samcro, Silver Streak, Supasundae, Verdana Blue & We Have A Dream.

12 in the Bowl inc Bristol de Mai, Clan des Obeaux, Kemboy & Waiting Patiently.
 
....wonder if anybody is seeing value in early markets. I have a small e/w interest in Fanfan du Seuil in the Juvenile Hurdle @ 20-1. A lot to find with the favourites, but Tom George does well at Aintree and it ran a very decent race at Cheltenham.

Not had much of a look at Thursday's card yet but I'm really looking forward to one of Tom George's later in the week.
 
.....reading in this morning’s Racing Post that last years Foxhunter winner, Balnaslow, is set to lose the race. I don’t suppose any of us who won a shilling on it will give it back.

Dineur was a big priced 2nd before winning the Foxhunters a couple of years ago. Balnaslow finished 2nd to Dineur before being first past the post last year. Greensalt could be elevated to a big priced 2nd last year, so if that trend continues it could be this years winner.
 
....had a couple of quid on Azzuri in the RedRum @ 50-1 based on its form last year. It’s moved to Skelton and needs a few to come out but I notice a bit of blue for it today on Oddschecker. One to keep an eye on if it gets in.

...a proper plunge taking place on Azzuri. I logged onto Coral’s earlier to take 33s, but it went to 20s before I got a bet on. It’s best priced 16s now. Happy with my 50-1, but would’ve liked to top it up. Mind you, it might not even get a run.

Eamon an Cnoic the other one I like in the race looks like it’s contracting also.

Edit; Azzuri now best priced 11-1. Proper plunge in the last few hours from 33-1.

Betway have been slownto react, still have DDS in the market, with him and LBAR quotes there is some value about with them
 
Six horses have been declared for the Betway Bowl at Aintree on Thursday. The runners are Balko Des Flos, Bristol De Mai, Clan Des Obeaux, Elegant Escape, Kemboy and Road To Respect.

So hoping Azzuri gets in after yesterday’s plunge.

It’s nothing like a Cheltenham portfolio but it’s a bit of fun and something to build on after tomorrow’s declarations.
