Supreme Novices 2018

Well he won't be winning a maiden let alone the supreme lol
 
Well hovering over the Supreme market turned out to be a waste of a few seconds there haha. I wonder what they'll do with him!

I'm happy to take a chance at them prices but he was beat from about the 3rd hurdle. Showed no pace what so ever.
Atleast we know mengli khan is the giggi no1 for the supreme.

Not sure he'll go on to be better than un de sceaux. :highly_amused:

Can t run in the Cheltenham champion bumper. Poss send him for a bumper over in Ireland now I expect.

Absolutely mate. Worth the risk at three figure prices. Thought the same about MK.
 
another dud to cross off a long supreme list. Glad I'm on the sidelines.
 
Despite what Gordon says on his blog. Roaring bull looks a gift today at 7/2 I will be expecting the late arrival of money for him. The form of the others is weak.
 
Hope he does bounce back. I backed for supreme before his lat run but it'll also boost sharjahs claims

I don't fancy either for the supreme. But this race is miles away from a supreme. The standard of this race is poor. Not everything in pink and green is a machine which betting markets seem to believe. And the form of sympa des flos is horrendous. Low sun isn't anywhere near a supreme winner. So if roaring bull is half decent he should win this. Roaring bull want's further but the ground should help and he'd want to be beating these to go anywhere near up in grade.

My only bet of the day. Roaring bull O.5 pts 7/2 0.5 pts 4/1. Tough conditions out there. The only value i can see in relation to what his chances should be of winning. Id give him a bigger chance that 25% anyway. :)

Low sun poor. Roaring bull wants further. Deffinately a poor race on a whole looking on to future targets.
 
Getabird gets a 16/1 quote for the supreme after an impressive victory today??.
Mullins quoted "I think I saw today what we saw as a bumper horse. Hopefully he stays right now for the season and he'll be a nice staying novice hurdler.

I'd be very suprised if he went for the supreme. :)
 
After early doors, hollowgraphic, rapid escape, boot camp all following up well since over 2 miles. And the turn of foot he showed in the goffs land rover bumper. He jumps well.
What is tizzard doing with vision des flos? He's made a right mess of things throwing him straight in to 2 graded 2 1/2 races and restraining him. I really hope he sees some sense and puts him in a 2m maiden hurdle.

Finally common sense has prevailed. He has entries over 2m. Carlisle on Sunday would be his best option. So hope he gets there and gets some confidence.
Either that or tzzard is playing dumb and he bolts in off 135 in the betfair hurdle/ county hurdle .
But tizzard dosent seem the type.
