Supreme Novice Hurdle 2019

Henderson said on Saturday: "The plan is to run Angels Breath at Haydock on Saturday. He worked this morning and everything was great.

"It was a bit of a funny race at Ascot as the two horses that were supposed to be his closest competitors (Thomas Darby and Didtheyleaveuoutto) didn't turn up. One was a non runner and the other didn't declare.

"They only jumped four hurdles and although he did it well I don't think it told you a lot, but I do think he is a nice horse, like Birchdale who was supposed to run at Warwick today."

The Dai Walters- and Ronnie Bartlett-owned gelding is likely to be joined at Haydock by Brain Power, who will attempt to follow up his win in the Grade Two International Hurdle at Cheltenham last time out in what is now The New One Unibet Hurdle.

Henderson added: "We plan to take Brain Power to Haydock as well for the Champion Hurdle trial. He also worked this morning and everything has been good since Cheltenham."

I think was his blog, will have a look later when in from work and post up

I’m sure I have read that Mister Fisher unlikely to run in this and run in Feb instead.

They mentioned the Dovecote at Kempton for Mister Fisher at the end of Feb. Things can change though.

He just said Mister Fisher likely to run but will decide tonight.

He said AB unlikely to go over further?

Yeah - apparently he has an entry over 2m 5f? Anyway NH said he didn't think that would be a good idea as he is very pacey and looked good over 2 miles, or words to that effect

If Mr F goes to Haydock he then thinks he'll go on to the Dovecote

Also gave a mention to Champagne Platinum - said it was difficult to split the 3 of them and that he thought they were all 2 milers given the strength in other divisions

Good news, cheers :)

Nicky Henderson has suggested that ANGELS BREATH will not run at all this weekend and MISTER FISHER will take in the Supreme Trial.

He also suggested that MISTER FISHER would take in two more runs before the supreme whereas ANGELS BREATH just wants one more

Apologies jumping the gun earlier regarding AB running and MF not.

He said he wanted to avoid Musselburgh this season as a lot of horses that ran there last season got beat.

Is there any news on Annamix? Gone awfully quiet on him considering all the previous hype! I’m still clutching my ticket on him with the hope he’ll come on for the run and still be Willie’s number one! But he’s drifted again to 25/1 so wondering if I’ve missed a bad update?

Might just be him being entered in the 2m 6f race at the Dublin festival. Wouldn't say he's a guarantee to run there though.
Not heard anything else personally.
