Supreme Novice Hurdle 2019

The close up replays of that race are brilliant. Townend was really struggling to straighten him up. Ruby strong as an ox.

No brainer. Ruby all day long. Balance, experience and even AP struggled to hold him in a finish. What was that mega finish a few years ago where Ruby on a Mullins horse foiled a massive JP/AP punt? Was the JP horse Get Me Out Of Here?

Angels Breath has to be the worst favourite of the festival?

Has jumped 4 hurdles and his form isn’t up to much, Danny Kirwan hasn’t been seen since but is clearly not the animal people thought 12 months ago, and Seddon has been beaten 4 lengths by Ballymoy who was giving him 10lbs! The 4th has been beaten 19 lengths
If I had the money I’d rather lay it at 5/1 than back Altior at 2/5

He's running in a few days. If you wait you can lay him at shorter when he hacks up

I agree that the form isn’t up to much HF but he is clearly held in some regard at Seven Barrows and there is plenty of ammunition there to compare him against. I have him in my book but the jury is out for me until his next run. Would be a brave lay tho at this stage.

Can’t wait to see angels breath again I personally think he could be a star Nicky said after first run it was a pity there was only 4 hurdles as if bring them on he jumps well! Owners aswell saying they think the have touched lucky in buying a good one

The Get me out of Here race was Final Approach in the County the day Long Run won the Gold cup if I recall

Not sure if this is elsewhere but Fakir Doudairies has been bought by JP so chances are could end up her

Who's cashing the 40/1? :devilish:

Tricky one but that market move looks significant.

What’s happening with Didtheyleaveuoutto? Is he an intended runner in the Betfair Hurdle do we know? If he won that would become interesting for this

be mad to cash, as only takes a niggle for big erec and any plans may change.

Great race on the weekend and I genuinely wouldn’t be surprised if one of those two was the winner here.

That said, on reviewing the form again, what are people’s view in Itchy Feet? On the bare form of his run back in the Autumn he looks better than Elixir and Mister Fisher. 33/1 surely way to big a price?! He could have come on too.

In addition to his Exeter entry on Thursday over 2m 3f , Angel's Breath has two entries over the weekend, at Newbury on Saturday and Exeter on Sunday, both over 2 miles

Completely agree. He’ll no doubt win a facile non event in a few days and be cut further. I’d have Mister Fisher over him (and do) any day of the week

16 of the last 16 Supreme Novices’ Hurdles winners had run MORE than twice during that season

Would rule out Angels Breath and Klassical Dream

My two pennies would be in line with this.

He hasn't had chance to show what he can do yet...

I'd definitely rather back Altior at 2/5 than lay Angel's Breath at effectively 1/5 though, especially prior to him shortening up again on Thursday

That stat implies what though?

Do you not believe Mullins or Henderson can get one ready after a break, by choice?

Mullins doesn't need to prove to me that he can get a horse to run well at Cheltenham with 2 or less runs, the list of horses he's had that'd have won races would be impressive enough.
