Ryanair Chase 2018

Not sure what to think about this Re - Min's chances.

Scenes! Surely Min must be working the house down at home for this decision to be made?

They've put Douvan (their stable star) in the race he is most likely to win.

Simple as that for me....

Min deserves a crack at the CC and the rematch with Altior...but why have Douvan AND Min beat... when this race, they only have to beat Un De Sceaux, which is now a no brainer

Well done scooby didn't think he would run anywhere.. still think it will take some performance to win on his return.
 
Could UDS switch to the QMCC on soft ground, giving Ruby the option to ride him?

I guess this is probably right Kev, the issue and always is, is that the Ryanair has never been mentioned, long term target has been Champ chase all season and that's a statement that's been repeated time and time again...
 
At last...UDS gets the chance to beat a great horse in Douvan....if Douvan is still the horse he was he would be running in the Champion Chase.I wont be surprised if he dosent pull up in this.UDS all the way...
 
Douvan up in trip, first race back after over a year out with the ground looking to at least be soft... he must be looking good at home surely ?

It looks like I have missed it but what has people so confident douvan will stay after the break?
 
This is exactly my thoughts as well. 2mile on soft/heavy ground and blast off to test Altior. The ground is there for UDS and Ruby will ride Douvan in the champion

I think we all know not to take the comments literally though, and I've been happy to assume Douvan COULD come here...and as posted yesterday (or the day before) I'd made Douvan my biggest winner.

I'm surprised he isn't fav already
