Really wish I'd backed UDS earlier than I did now. I had doubts, but it's increasingly a solo show
 
I'd be very suprised if something dosent join un de sceaux in this. Prob djakadam

Doubt it. Probably definitely would if Un de sceaux injured.
 
Anyone else think that Un De Sceaux will struggle to get home on soft ground? He fell over the line in a very poor renewal last year. Given that they didn't think he could lead Speredek last time I can't see him being able to sit any better than third behind Cue Card and Balko Des Flos so this year he is going to have to finish his race off a good deal better to have any chance of winning.
 
Didnt RR text Matt Chapman the other night to say definitely GC for Djakadam? I know that doesn't mean it's a certainty but I'd think he would be a bit more careful giving confirmed targets this year if he wasn't sure!

I definitely do kb. I'm clearly in the minority but I'm dead against UDS. Think he's a very poor price myself. Fancy Cue Card quite strongly.

No I watched the preview he diddnt confirm at all. Just said he diddnt think he'd win the Ryanair so looks like gold cup at this stage.

Soft ground would be a plus for him imo even over this trip. Im still against him. (Wouldnt be on soft. But i think its more likely to be good ground) But everything I thought would beat him is now a NR. Iv got no interst in balko des flos. So It would have to be cue card. Waiting patiently suddenly running. Or a switch from Willie. (Douvan. Min. Yorkhill) to see him beat.
