Hadn't been confirmed until today.

Dodged a bit of a bullet with him personally.... he was always just a little too short to back given the niggles at Cheltenham. Flirtied with the idea more than once though.

Footpad's going to beat Altior (not even best horse in training now, and I've heard it's disheartened him).
And he going to do it with no shoes on like sandie shaw in eurovision.

Re Willie, surely if the plan is to turn Footpad into a GC horse then now is the time to send him here with a view to the GC next year.
 
Tricky choice for Ruby - Min/ Footpad/ UDS - can only have 2/3.
 
Road To Respect now shorter for this than the Gold Cup on Betfair Exchange.

If he runs, he’s not going off any bigger than 3/1 in my book, so that makes him a more than worthwhile bet to me.
