Ryanair 2019

Looking at the suspected runners for this, the highest JP horse in the betting is Hells Kitchen (40/1).
I was impressed with his last run at Cheltenham.
Does anyone know of any trainer comments that suggest the Ryanair is his intended target?
He’s priced as though it’s not on the exchange but I’d quickly snaffle those if it’s a possibility.

I've only heard the CC as an option, based on how free going he is...

but not heard anything from connections

Cheers Kev. I thought his last run was Cheltenham but it was Ascot. He won over 2m 3, so not too dissimilar a distance to the Ryanair.
Ascot is not as testing but he wasn’t stopping from memory.
Will JP not have a runner in one of the Blue Riband races - or have I missed another of his somewhere?

Coney island is a confirmed runner.

I thought this might make you Laugh doc , in the R.P today , Ruth jefferson has one of the highest profit rates
among the Trainers , Doesn't have Many runners , :highly_amused:,
But a very tidy profit on the one's she does.

Thanks for that snippet BC.
None at the festival I hasten to add.
Im a little surprised she's had so few runners. :highly_amused:
She still suffers very badly from amnesia. Cant have her at all.

Frodon better than Politologue

Ratings are a joke due to the reluctance to admit the gap between handicappers and graded horses

Footpad must be one of the most overrated horses in training. His novice form doesn't look great the Arkle fell apart and he's struggled in open company. I know he's a nice horse but there's a lot of question marks.

Which run have they possibly used to get Footpad that high?

Footpad may well be a better horse than Min by the end of this season, but there is absolutely no way on the planet he's shown it on a race track yet.

I'll add "Timeform Rating Anaylst" to the list of jobs that people get paid for in racing that I am jealous of.

His arkle win was pretty quick on the clock and visually impressive and probably his best piece of form.

40/1 NRNB price
Might be worth backing

Ive been on Coney Island @ 50-1 (WH) for this for a while now. Its not NRNB but Eddie Harty said around Christmas that he was Ryanair bound.
He was very positive in an interview yesterday after his winner in Naas.

He'll be around 16-1 or less on the day I think and has a super chance.

super chance - is a little optimistic, based on his last few runs, and likely opposition.
you'll have had a result if it turns up. then it's got a chance.

All my bets are super optimistic!! :)

As a piece of form to hang a solid rating on though it's not reliable...and the evidence since suggests it wasn't as good as it looked?

Point being, if that is THE piece of form they've used, I think Min would has achieved more.

When you consider mins best piece of form is his second to Altior (arguably)
Then on time alone it’s better form from footpad. It was certainly judged to be at the time.
But I see your point .
They were clearly impressed that day with the time and manner of his win.

Min is better than Footpad on all known form.
