Ryanair 2019

Id like to take this opportunity to thank the lad who put up 300.0 200.0 And 110.0 on top notch for this race.

Many thanks. If your out there.

Is sexism allowed on this forum? :highly_amused::devilish:

Did he just get added? I was checking for him in this at the weekend and couldn't see him anywhere

I added him then somone put up 300, 200.0 ......
I think they thought the hurdle run wasn't a prep.

A few hours later and now he's entered in the trial at the weekend

Very nice Scooby.

God knows what possesses people to lay at those odds. I know they are probably making a book on the race but even so, those odds are ridiculous.

Very nice that Scooby, Novice question here but how do you go about adding a horse to the exchange is it as simple as a request to a moderator like usual bookies ?

I just tweet bf with the horses name and the market you wish to add to.

Compared to 3 weeks ago shaping up to be a cracker this.

Brilliant shout Scooby. Well done.

It was obvious to everyone his race last tome over hurdles was a prep for this. Wish I’d seen them prices though

Has anyone got a link to the quote on Waiting Patiently re. only getting an entry in the Ryanair?

Ignore that, just seen In the RP!

I don't want a price. I want some worthwhile form tbh.

Yet you couldn't get enough of Annamix last year?

or Laurina - Mrs Worthwhile form, who will be better than Annie Power?

I haven't backed Waiting Patiently, I'm waiting patiently :p

*** Haha, I only just read what I wrote and I didn't mean to sound a complete weapon....

I agree, on form, Waiting Patiently is too short.

I'd echo my point on another thread, that there is more to horse racing than just the form in the book though, and the two horses I've mentioned, that I know you are keen on, are fair examples?

To me Waiting Patientlys form/chance is based around whether you rated Cue Card last year and the strength of that win

For me it’s an overrated piece of form and I won’t be backing WP unless he stamps his authority all over the field on Saturday and I’d want it to be 5+

The novice hurdlers you mention were against unproven novice hurdlers, especially in Laurina's case where she had nothing to beat, this time around she has it all to do and for that I am happy to let her go as even I will be surprised if she is good enough to win a CH.

Annamix was the talking horse, as he was this time around too, and I know I am not the only one to jump on board the WPM/Ricci combo before it runs, I was also on Samcro because of said hype, that one turned out alright, you win some you lose more with them type of horses/bets.

WP is a completely different proposition, he's in open company, his form to date, as well as his fragile well being make him vulnerable, especially @ 8/1. No part of his form book should have him @ 8/1 for this race, he's yet to complete (no fault of his own admittedly) a race in 320+ days.

Crikey, you'd be mental to back Waiting Patiently for this when he's 5/2 3rd fav for Saturday.

He's half the price of Charbel at 8/1 compared to 16/1, but the bookies have Charbel 2/1 fav?

Is WP definitely an intended runner?

Waiting Patiently is massively unexposed still CoD.

Form no, but potential is there, just like it is for Laurina going into open company.

I don't think either are a good bet at the current prices, so no real disagreement anyway.

As you all know from the early Yankees, I’m a huge fan of Monalee.

I’m on him for this at 25s from April this year.

It’s a very hot race, but I’m delighted to be in this position now from page 5 on this thread.

Got to add Politologue for it too I think. 12s or 8/1 if playing NRNB. I think 12s is a better bet as surely he won’t be taking Altior on again in the Champion chase.

Would say he's an intended runner if there's plenty of rain.....but good ground, he won't run IMO.

Waiting Patiently could return to Kempton on Saturday — provided ground conditions are deemed suitable.

Ruth Jefferson’s stable star won his first six starts over fences, including a Grade One triumph in the Ascot Chase last February.

He made his first appearance since in the King George VI Chase at Kempton on Boxing Day, but was badly hampered by the fall of Bristol De Mai at the final fence — giving Brian Hughes no chance of staying in the saddle.

Waiting Patiently returned to his Yorkshire base none the worse, and Jefferson is keen to get him back on the racecourse as soon as possible.

Jefferson said: “We’ve put him in the Listed race on Saturday, and it all depends on the ground. There is a bit of rain forecast, but a bit of rain might not be enough. We’ll just have to wait and see.

“He’s fit and ready to go. We’ve had no issues at all since the King George.

“If he’d been brought down and come back with problems that would have been a nightmare. It was bad enough being brought down, but at least he came back absolutely fine.”

Waiting Patiently is one of 12 entries for the two-and-a-half-mile 32Red Casino Chase — with Kim Bailey’s Peterborough Chase winner Charbel, Mick Channon’s Cheltenham Festival hero Mister Whitaker and Nicky Henderson’s Top Notch among his potential rivals.

Should he sidestep this weekend’s engagement, he could take on Henderson’s superstar Altior in the Clarence House Chase at Ascot on Saturday week or head to the Dublin Racing Festival at Leopardstown early next month.

“If we wait for the Clarence House he’d probably be taking on Altior — and when you’re taking a horse like him, with everything in his favour, you know going into it the scales are tipped against you,” Jefferson added.

“He’s in the two Grade Ones at Leopardstown — the Irish Gold Cup and the two-mile race (Dublin Chase) — and after that you’ve got the Ascot Chase.

“Then you’re on to Cheltenham and Aintree, so we’ll just have to see where it rains.”

Just to add to that. I don't wanna see all the crying at Jefferson this season. She and the owner have stated it clearly.
Who ever wrote the RP headline. Is the one that needs a kick in the dick.

A school of thought that WP would be shorter than 6/1 if he got his ground?

Won't run otherwise?

Too short isn't it. I want to back him but he's too short.
