Looking to put together a Royal Ascot 2020 Fat Jockey Yankee.

Are there any anteposts you have a particularly strong view on at the moment?

Any related multiple angles that could be exploited?

Perhaps focussing on a certain trainer?

I'll throw Kew Gardens into the ring to start because (barring injury) the target seems pretty set in stone and also, I always enjoy opposing short priced "bankers" at the big festivals and seeing them get turned over :highly_amused:

Not too sure when the first lot of declarations are in but i would imgaine it'll be the next few days.

My knowledge of the flat is quite limited so open to suggestions

I have taken some 20/1 about Sceptical but even if you can get 9/2 after decs I think he’s a bet. I know it’s bold but i honesty think this horse can take over the sprint division in the next couple of years. He is still a little green and Hogan has shown how much he can improve his horse’s. Obviously Battaash is top class but also hit and miss and I’m not sure he really wants the Ascot stiff 5f.

Japan can’t get beat

Surely. Surely?

Stradivarius looked good on his recent comeback run, but surely Kew Gardens is the absolute value in the Gold Cup, at the prices.

More Beautiful (Albany)

Has anyone seen a quote to say this is her definite target?

I noticed she has shortened for the Albany whereas Hills and PP have pushed her price out for the Queen Mary, just wondered whether there was a quote anywhere confirming.

I haven’t seen a direct quote AVL but have heard that’s the target through a source that has been reliable in the past. I can see her price halving when the target is made public.

Thanks.

Yeah she did look very impressive the other day

The AIDANOBRIENFANSITE on Twitter confirmed the race (I don't know there source), which probably followed on from the filly coming into 3/1 for Albany and out to 6/1 for the Queen Mary.

The Lir Jet impressed on debut and one I like if turning up for the Norfolk.

Just seen Frankie has been booked for the ride too

Palace pier in the St James. Decent price. Well impressed with the Newcastle run. Pinatubo needs a stall test before running I believe. Wichita the fav obviously.

Absolutely. He ducked the Guineas to run on the sand.
As soon as that was clear, a couple of weeks back, it looked like a planned St James Palace run.

Looks a great each way bet at the prices.

Like the idea of:

Palace Pier (5/1) St James Palace

More Beautiful (11/4) Albany

Any more suggestions?

Japan and Stradivarius are the shorties now aren't they?

Avoiding them races?

Yeah, Battaash is also very short now too.

None of their short prices particularly appeal for a yankee, just my personal preference.

Nothing immediately jumps off the page to oppose them with in those races at the moment, at least to my untrained eye anyway
