Royal Ascot 2019

Her debut time on the bridle was very impressive. She beat a subsequent winner easily and the time figure for the last and first furlong was excellent.

Think she’s in a weak race and could just be a bit special.

I was the one who had her introduced antepost in the sky request a bet market for the Albany a long while ago. So hopefully she can win.

I liked the look of Final Song, if she was to show up. Of course she might not as the blue boys have a few 2yo fillies to run.

Lady Pauline coming over and running a shocker has sort of made me wonder at his 2yos this year. He tends to at least get one to be fair.

Thanks for highlighting, Queen Power.

That's me done in total.
Best of luck with everyone's bets. And hopefully almost all make it there.

Any ideas what the ground conditions are likely to be come Tuesday? It looked like London was having a real soaking today, as well as Ascot drains surely it’s going to be soft on top?

Apparently if the forecast holds it will be good for kick off on Tuesday

Chasing Dreams misses out injured

Thanks for highlighting, Queen Power.

Still urge everyone to get on QP. Can't believe 3's is still available with trainers confirming both Mehdaayih and Manuela de Vega missing race as well.

Fleeting supplemented for the Ribblesdale

Hopefully Good Birthday turns up for a handicap. He was an eye catcher at Newbury lto and it wouldn't surprise me if he found quite a bit of improvement when stepped up in trip.

He's going to win a decent handicap this season, I just hope it's next week.

He has an entry, it's a start! :triumphant:

Took 18/1ew with Ladbrokes

That Coolmore lot are mental. Looks like being no more that 7 runners in Ribblesdale.

Has Fleeting been supplemented because of the ground? Seems strange they left it so late but the expected ground conditions are softer than expected a fortnight ago

Very much doubt it. The latest going stick reading suggests Ground drying quickly. Already heading towards Good all over on straight course and round course won't be far behind. Haven't a clue why they supplemented her.

Are you still so confident about Queen Power?

Absolutely. She is the one to beat. Been her target for a good while and she is a typical Sir M Stoute improver. Value is gone now but hopefully most on here took 4's or better.

I'd defo be siding with Fleeting at the prices personally with her Oaks form a fair bit ahead of anything else formwise in the race. Not insurmountable as the Oaks probably wasn't a great contest this year. Agree Lobos, price of QP is too short now.

I'd give an e/w squeak to Altair, she has plenty to find but JOB is taking his time with her + her run behind Pink Dogwood was decent, she wasn't ideally placed + was interfered with. Ran on nicely.

Probably supplemented her because its such a weak race, and AOB does like to run something half decent in it, and they are normally competitive! Ground will suit her well too?

Cheers Lobos, I like your confidence, I’ve backed Queen Power off the back of it.....let’s hope she gets the job done

Never been keen on supplemented horses. History tells us that they rarely win which is not surprising as they are normally afterthoughts and if a horse isn't specifically targeted at a race then the training patterns are thrown out. Of course Fleeting could buck the trend but I think she'll be picking up place money at best. QP is unlucky not to be unbeaten so far and I think she is very smart. Sir M S is going to have some fun with her.
