Related Bets (ideas)

Gerri Colombe in the Ballymore with JWM in the AB is one I like(d).

The JWM price is not that appealing now though.

This got me thinking, JWM has been cut to 12/1 (generally 10/1) from 33/1 without even seeing the racecourse this season. Not sure I've seen a horse quite so popular in the ante post markets without having a run.

I watched his Bumper win back again on Monday.

It looked hock deep ground and he just seemed to canter round at one pace whilst the others floundered in the straight.

Theres no way they would be running him anywhere without soft going, than Ireland has had up until now.

Fingers crossed he gets it, and takes up one of his entries with next few days.

Watching that video made me think "What an earth have I had a cover bet on him in the Ballymore for."

Owner's/connections money I reckon.
The first move seemed like it to me.

You can easily cash out though Sax so maybe still worth keeping hold of until after he appears.

He looked like a tractor

Just went the same pace the whole way and everything else finished exhausted

Hopefully the ground is like a ploughed field by the time the AB comes round:unconscious:

Terrible odds, but the 1-2 of Ferny and Bolly from last season to triumph in the novice chases?

Contemplating making it a triple threat with GDM too

That’s the main worry isn’t it; if he actually needs it that soft then unless there’s a deluge & they water continually the track may have dried out a fair bit come 2.30pm Friday. Can obv. say that about any horse & ground conditions though.

On the subject of Robcour too I’ve put a related quad on (that’s obv. very speculative) & then made me think they could easily be top owner this year.
Gerri Colombe - Ballymore
Bob - Marsh
Jumping Jet - Mares Novice
JWM - Bartlett

Earlier this season I did combination ew trebles and four fold on Magic Daze (Arkle) 50/1, Bob (Marsh) 4/1, JWM (Bartlett) 25/1 and Gin On Lime (Mares) 20/1. The fourfold pays just shy of 100,000/1 but I (realistically) dream of having four places!

He did look like a tractor pulling away from the farm hands struggling to walk on the rutted fields of the farm.

It wasnt pretty.

Anyone thinking Nicky might switch Champ….might be worth couple doubles with Klassical and Flooring

Luke Harvey seems to think Champ will go for the Cotswold Chase. I think he'll end up in the Stayers but the Gold Cup does look very open after the last few days racing so it's a possibility.

Anyone who fancies Ginto Sunday, might want to double him with Eric Bloodaxe for Spuds, given form of previous race
