Yep :applause:

It does make some sense.

Kind of relies on the Albert Bartlett perhaps not being as good as it looks at the moment but who knows. I've chanced it for now, at that price.

I just watched back all of Easywork's 5 runs last season. he debuted in the Down Royal Bumper that Gordy farms on the first big weekend racing in Ireland (won 6 out of last 7) and won by further than Malone Road did the year before, and with a better rating.

He was prominent or led in all four of his hurdle runs, and travelled well in the jockeys hands in all four races, pulling a bit in the Ballymore, but not too much that he couldnt see out the race well, up the hill.

The Ballymore 1-2

Easywork (RSA) 33/1
Envoi Allen (Marsh) 4/1

Double is 169/1

Been toying with Easywork for the RSA for a while now, but he's one of those that could literally go for all three chases, IMO.

All four :p

He doesn't look slow... but I don't want to get caught up in the needing a stayer for the Arkle and a 5f flat horse with a burst of speed for an RSA that people can draw me in to :highly_amused:

it felt a bit easier to pick RSA for Easywork with Envoi Allen the Marsh. Decent price for the double doing them both ways though.:encouragement:

I'd say it's an extremely difficult situation with Gigginstown horses.

Easywork
Felix Desjy
Diol Ker
Fury Road
Column Of Fire
Commander Of Fleet

The majority with just one trainer. Take your pick for a race IMO.

Like the form line related double for sure, and agree whole heartedly with also The Big Getaway. Big horse, looks built for 3, IMO. Want to be going into the RSA with him being one of my biggest winners for the race. Owner situation not being a worry.

Yep, its The Big Getaway and Easywork for me at the prices.

Fakir Arkle
Defi Ryanair

You mean QM Mayo.
Have that double several times and included in a number of trixies/yankees so would certainly make a difference to my life if that one cops...

The Mares Hurdle 1-2

Benie Des Dieux (Mares Hurdles)
Honeysuckle (Mares Chase)

65/1

Certainly worth a dabble. Maybe the other way around as well ?

The other way round would hinge on news regarding Honeysuckle staying over hurdles and I'd back that one then as it still wouldn't be a slam dunk, in my opinion anyway.

This way round I feel is a slam dunk.

We'll see. Shouldn't really be speculating this far out but there we are.

Nearly Men Double.....Melon Ryanair and Monalee GC.

An Owner Yankee?

Shishkin (Arkle)
The Big Getaway (RSA/NH Chase)?
Melon (Ryanair)
Al Boum Photo (Gold Cup)

The Shishkin / Al Boum Photo win double landed this year, and the all 4 of them were in the frame last year.

Not usually a fan of multiples but that one has a nice look to it, at the price youll get

Been backing these (not added to diary yet), plus doing Cheveley Park, and will likely do a small RR/Gigginstown one. Seem to get drawn into doing them near enough every season.

I done the trixie last minute, season just gone, but had Asterion Forlonge instead of Shishkin :dejection: Left The Big Getaway out also :highly_amused:

I added Asterion Forlonge for this one though, to make a Canadian/Super Yankee, for the Marsh as well as the 4 above you've mentioned. TBG obviously RSA :highly_amused:

Did trainer trebles last year

MIN
AL BOUM
APPRECIATE IT :(

Shinskin
Champ
Santini :(

Close no cigar :highly_amused:

As you've probably seen elsewhere on here, I'm an advocate of each way trixies with the doubles and treble as separate bets just in case there's news of an injury or an alternative target. Looking at those bets you might benefit from a change in strategy Arkle.

Injuries lead to one e/w double for 8 staked played around with trixies two season ago said I wouldn’t touch them again going to play singles and a monthly yankee until the festival my free bets will be going on doubles

I understand this won't be everyone's cup of tea but what about the Kenneth Alexander Mares Hurdle / Mares Chase double? We know he is a big advocator of the mares program and the plan is for Honeysuckle to stay over hurdles and Elfile to go over fences. The MH / MC double pays 57.5/1 with skybet. Have added myself for 1 point.

Sounds a great idea, obviously youll have the worry that Honeysuckle could go CH but looks much more likely she will support the mares programme and go for the girls race
