Related Bets (ideas)

I have just done an each way related Yankee from the Cheltenham race at the end of January as I think they will all be in different races

Stage Star - Turners
Datsalrightgino - Plate
Unexpected Party - Grand Annual
Panic Attack - Kim Muir

50,000/1 NRMB

How do we like those apples :cheerful:

I assume Datsalrightgino will be declared for a 60k pot this week.

Exactly 1000/1 with Unibet for Harry Fry's 3 runners....

Harry Fry
Gin Coco
Mccoy Contractors County Handicap Hurdle, best price 14-1
The County is the plan. He was a good runner-up in the Greatwood but the ground was too quick and we decided not to run in the Betfair Hurdle. He should be competitive there.

Love Envoi
Close Brothers Mares' Hurdle, 6-1
She's all good. We'll look to have an away day somewhere in the build-up as we weren't able to run at Warwick. It looks a competitive Mares' Hurdle so she'll need to keep improving but she has looked good in her two runs so far this season.

Might I
Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle, 10-1
There were loads of positives to take from his run at Cheltenham on Trials day. He didn't give himself a chance over three miles at Haydock prior to that but he settled and jumped well over that shorter trip. He'll have a few entries but we're leaning towards the Martin Pipe which has always been our preference.

I have actually got them all backed individually so I can't help but do the trixie. :indecisiveness:

Scriptwriter to win the Adonis today and Nusret to win the Boodles is 26.5/1 NRNBOG

Would need to be with 365 for BOG and NRNB, but Nusret not entered in the Triumph. Could win this and go to Aintree I suppose but drifting a bit this morning.

26.5/1 might tempt someone, especially if they fancy Scriptwriter to win today. Even if Nusret gets 'too close' I don't think it's that bad, given the rating he's starting at, don't think he'll be without a chance in the Boodles?

Plan was for Nusret to stick to RH tracks Kev

Fusil Raffles skipped Cheltenham after the Adonis (although not sure if that was as he picked up an injury) so wouldn't be a massive shock.

I'd be tempted with the Nusret and Blood Destiny double, if I was confident that the former wouldn't run in the Boodles.

Trebled this with Dorking Cock in the Hunters

….I was in the local old man’s boozer one Saturday night after ‘Some Horse’ won. It was quiet, Jamie Redknapp was in there (he lived with a local family) along with Jason McAteer (drinking Guinness) and Fowler. No mobiles in those days, McAteer was constantly using the pay phone next to the bar. They must have had a right touch, Ruddock came in with biggest wedge of money I’ve ever seen.

That group were always in there, they were no bother.

That's where I took my inspiration for my username from. Robbie Fowler was my favourite player when I was a kid and I knew he and McManaman owned 'Some Horse' from reading his autobiography. They had 'Another Horse' too.

Didn't realise it was that long ago until you mentioned Neil Ruddock was still around then! You must have loved the derbies back then Eggs, I wish I could scrub the names of Bjorn Tore Kvarme and Danny Cadamarteri from my memory :welcoming:

….I know that’s where your user name originated, so I thought I’d recall the story for you. I’ve never ‘loved’ the Derby matches & I’ve watched them since the early ‘60s. Regardless, I’m trying to forget about Everton for a few hours this Sunday morning!!

Fortunately Chelts is around the corner.

Oops, apologies, I have only just seen the results from the 3pm matches from yesterday :boxing: was reading my Cheltenham guide Saturday afternoon and they completely passed me by. You're definitely best trying to forget!

What do we think?

Was just thinking about this earlier, although I was thinking about all the juveniles which made it more complicated, gaelic warrior and hms seahorse added in.
