Jennies Jewel paid a compliment to VVM yesterday but over two miles I think she might be vulnerable.

Contrary to what some or saying MTOY hasnt had a hard season - he has had 2 races FFS. Had to be shaken up to finish second at Aintree though so ? remain.

Sempri Medici looked terrible in his coat at Cheltenham and Id like a look at him before having a bet but could be the value. No tongue tie today either.

I had a look at Hash Brown too Mayo - jockey bookings putting me off - might be a Galway horse ? Trainer form also shocking - no winner since 8 Nov 2015.

4 bets for me today.

4.20 - Phils Magic 16/1
4.55 - Bonny Kate 6/1
6.05 - O O Seven 8/1
7.45 - Paint The Clouds 13/2

Sempre Medici owes me from the fest, but I think he needs soft ground. Will do the Ricci forecast.

Lucky 15

Avant Tout
Identity Thief
Koshari
Paint The Clouds

Any views on Lord Scoundrel's jockey booking in the 4.20?

Dont know him.

Jack Kennedy got a better offer ?

Thats why I went for Phil's Magic last night. Its strange how BC and JK abandoned this consistent horse who is now 3lbs better off with Avant Tout.

Each way trebles and fourfolds:
Full shift
Bonny Kate
Disko
Koshari
Marito

Good luck all.

Small interest in Disko in the 6.05, fresh horse and has some solid form in the book, the drift (out to 7s) is a little concerning but he still has 4 legs which has to be a plus !

I've had a fairly decent hot on Alfredo in the Fontwell bumper tonight (8.05).
I backed a Tizzard horse (Lillington) a few weeks ago on debut and I thought it looked a decent bumper, this Alfredo hacked up never coming off the bridle, Lillington has since finished 3rd in bottomless ground but looked all over the winner 2f out until he got stuck in the mud.
Only a 4yo and obviously has a penalty but he won with a hell of alot more than 7lb in hand and this race doesn't look as strong, I found some 5/2 earlier and last time I checked the prices hadn't moved much, I really like this horse and he could be a decent hurdler next Winter....

Has Paint The Clouds always jumped left? That was a very poor run and no wonder why he ran well at Chelts. If only I knew before hand.

No. that was alarming and suggests the horse has back muscle problems.
Equally disappointing was Alfredo at Fontwell, not the greatest 15 mins I've ever had.
Roll on tomorrow !

Saturday:

3.10 Folsom Blue e/w, was running a cracker in Scottish National and was brought down when traveling well and about to get involved
5.00 Captain Von Trappe e/w, bit of a flyer but he could run a big race and at big prices I'm happy taking a chance
5.35 Denameescapesme e/w, forum favourite and gets ground that half of these will hate, fresh horse too
6.10 Stretchingtehtruth e/w, this may be a 28 runner affair but jockey bookings tell me only a handful can win, Nina, say no more

Good luck all

DeNameEscapesMe and Bentilimar at a big price.

I really like Al Co at uttoxeter. He ran a solid race at Aintree on National day on ground that didn't suit and has been tumbling down the weights of late. I'll wait until near the off but if good is still in the going description I'll have a decent each way bet.

That's a cracking race FM, I don't recall that being run before and it has the look of a National trial.
I've plumped for Sego Success but may have a saver on the Ferdy's bottom one, Jennies Jewel, he is becoming a real force with staying chasers....

De name escapes me is a huge price FM, been kept fresh this season, ran a cracker in a bumper early season under a bridle ride from a lady amateur and snapped up by JP, definitely a big race in this horse and at 16's a decent ew beckons, put him up months ago as one to follow and have backed him each time he's run, including his bumper win which from memory was also 16/1.

I've had decent bets on 3.10 - Folsom Blue 8/1 & The Job Is Right 14/1.

3.50 - Keppols Queen 16/1

5.35 - Denameescapesme 16/1 & a long shot Damut 33/1.

Also had an interest in Jungle cat, NM 2.30, drifting in price so that's a bit of a worry

Just had a smash on Ivaniovich Gorbatov e/w at 3s.
Don't get me wrong Apples Jade's performance at Aintree was as devastating as any I've seen in years but the soft ground was against JPs horse that day and quicker ground here will be a big help.
Even if Apples Jade proves to be a freak and hoses up again I really don't see IG finishing worse than 2nd and the place terms mean I recover 75% of my win stake
