How would people rate the top 5 Novice Hurdlers and top 5 Novice Chases we have seen so far this seaon

I'm actively avoiding early season novice hurdlers :boxing:

Slim pickings but L'eau Du Sud would be top of my list at the moment.

If L'eau Du Sud had been in ANY of the Irish races with these, he'd have been second :cower:


Forgot Better Days Ahead .... was very impressed with him

Down Memory Lane and Better Days Ahead - how annoying that I find them hard to picture in my mind still

I reckon both The New Lion and Quebecois would beat him in the Challow, and thats without taking into account the big Kloth :excitement::boxing:

If Salvator Mundi counts as this season, he's number 1 and none of the other hurdlers have got near.

For chasers, Inthepocket is clear number 1. Better Days Ahead 2nd. Not sure I particularly rate any other performances that highly.

Feel like you're the first person i have seen with this opinion. I agree, just can't see him winning an arkle.
 
Can't help but think Leau De Sud is Third Time Lucki all over again. Same trainer, won same Arkle trial in same fashion, got identical RPR for doing so and goes to Sandown next for the same race TTL ran in and blew out in.

I always though TTL was a bit soft, LDS looks to me to have a bit more about him
Early days though.
