November ‘25 Yankee

Perhaps we could do 2 Irish men an an English man over 3 weeks? To pick it. As in one every week?

Was thinking we should get a Mullins, Elliott, Henderson Yankee in place as well as our monthly ones. Any other trainer you can think of getting 4 winners?

…..I know one poster was looking for a price on Henderson having ZERO winners. I’m not sure if we could nominate 4 selections from anybody other than Mullins at this point, especially without handicappers.

Just my thoughts, I’m sure others will have a view.

Leader D'Allier more suited by the mid trip you think Darlo?

….Classical Creek won the same Navan race for Elliott yesterday that Stellar Story won on his way to AB victory. Still 25-1 AB with cash-out, I suppose Turners could come into play (2m 4f mentioned in stable tour) but these trainers often follow a successful route.

I’ll put him up for consideration.

Lecky Watson been pushed to 50's by B365 for the Gold cup.
Another reaction based on cash outs that I think is a bonus as he was never put in the race today like a lot of the field.

Another angle for next weekend is to see how well The New Lion runs in the fighting fifth.
I personally think if he wins that well enough, and especially if Anzadam doesn't run him too close.

Then this brings Air of Entitlements price of 50-1 into more focus as that sort of result in the fighting fifth would mean Lossie looking much more likely in the Champion IMO.

And would also frank the form at cheltenham of The Yellow Clay and his price of 16-1 stayers.

Always think multiples are best when there is a relative angle myself.

Same price as better days ahead, and bigger than gorgeous tom. Two horses he swatted aside in the browns.

Seems a huge over reaction for LW.

Like the other angles mentioned too.👍

While on this kind of topic, other angles I was thinking about....

A win for the new lion could leave both henderson and donnelly without a good champion hurdle candidate, which may increase the chances of them sending sir gino that way if there's already concerns about him going straight back over fences. And likewise yellow clay festival
form franked as you say.

A miraculous return to form for constitution hill, may also frighten a few off from the champion hurdle. Con hill to win by say 5 lengths or more, trebled with lossie mares and sir gino champion chase.

If anzadam wins, mullins and donnelly have they're champion hurdle horse. In which case Anzadam trebled with sir gino champion chase and lossie mares could make sense.

Haven't even really thought about the likely odds for some of those, if they aren't massive I wouldn't even bother as a lot of Ifs and buts involved. Ideally I want well into triple figures and a fairly strong chance of a domino effect with these sort of bets.

….worth noting, the race TYC recently came 2nd in is the same race Bob O finished 2nd in last year before going on to win the Stayers.

You won’t believe this but Lecky came 7th in the durkan
Guess who came 7th last year ?
😆
On a serious note, many were disappointed with yellow clay in the lismullen but it was decent enough and completely different test to the stayers

…..maybe Grand National in the back of their minds.
Definitely a risk with lecky if Mullins somehow goes in mob handed in the gold cup.
But nothing wrong with running in gold cup as a prep as weights already decided and I’m sure owners would want to run

Yeah I had a bit more 66s on Lecky Watson, also pressed Green Spleandour at the same price for the potato race, was reliably informed he was nowhere near match fit today.
Two huge prices for consideration in the yankee if @somer1 wants a speculative one...

Can be boosted to 75's with Lads

….following similar theme, Fun Fun Fun is one I noted running today. Mullins stable tour suggested she’ll be aimed at Mares Chase, yet she was a short-price beaten favourite in a Mares Hurdle today. She was pushed out to 33-1 Mares Chase following her defeat.

Mullins ran Elimay in the same hurdles race before she finished 2nd in Mares Chase, 33-1 maybe an overreaction.

I’ve had a little e/w double on Air of Entitlement 50-1 MH & Fun Fun Fun 33-1 (1,733-1 double).

I backed The Yellow Clay for the stayers at 16s after he was turned over last week.

Some are using that performance as a reason to knock TNL but I think they just went too hard.

I don't mind backing horses that disappoint first time out. Jade De Grugy pushed to 25s is another that can leave today's form behind.
